) but still no luck unfortunately.
Anyway, I uploaded it here if you wanna push it to /system/app/ and give it a try by yourself:

I don't think it is a signature issue, since for example, in CM9 ROMs, Stk is compiled the same way as other APKs, but it still doesn't work. :/
Thanks a lot! I will give it a try. Only info I can have is catlog, so that is why I've been writing about signatures. I will post back
PS: all other system apps are odexed, but Stk.apk you've provided is deodexed. Nexus S MIUI Stk.apk is odexed too. What is the reason for this change? Anyway, I will test and hopefully, I will get some clue from system logs.
EDIT: Regarding Stk.apk, can you tell me what does it mean, that it does not work? does your signed version show up in the app drawer? I know that most ppl says that Stk.apk does not work, when they can't make it send crypted messages (bank account controlo commands), but I need it only to recieve unencrypted messages, which mostly works, once App shows itself in the app drawer.
With previous trial, which RolluS provided, I have tried to add Stk.apk to the /system/app, and after reboot, I've found error in system logs, that Stk.apk can't run, because it is not trustworthy (missing known credentials in Stk.apk, requested by Phone.apk). I suppose that once Stk.apk do have such trusted credentials, it should be truested by the rest of the phone, and available in the App Drawer.
PS2: I would like to help with translation. But I was able to translate only framework-miui-res.apk, other packages throws me error "Impossible d ecrire dans le fichier strings.1336370499.xml" (xml file name changes package from package).
What does it mean? (I can use google translator, but I am asking for what is wrong with the translation website).
