The custom icons cab does not change Games icon. It only changes the office icon.

I am a very happy user of my lumia 800 for some months now. The recent update to 7.8 made me even happier
. I liked the functionality and the soundquality using my carkit.
Yesterday though I received a new company car. Its carkits uses rSAP as bluetooth protocol and this seems not supported by Windows Phone.
I am able to use handfree functionality but can not make a call using the cars functionality. For calling out I have to select the contact in the Phone and call.
In recent Nokia Phones rSAP was suported (this seems logical for they invented it as I am told). Next to that rSAP was fully supported in windows Mobile 6.5.
Is there a way you could add this protocol or driver (?) in the rom you made? That would realy make me a happy camper. And judging from the great amount of hits you get when searching for this problem... al lot of VW, BMW, Audi and Mercedes drivers to.

Well I flashed the 3.10a ROM and it works really fine except for one issue:
I do not see the 2G or Edge Data connection option in the 'Cellular' tab under Settings. I am now forced to use 3G by default. Please let me know if you have a solution for this. I want use 2G/ Edge as max allowed data connection.

Ok folks, I've been running versions of my newest build on my Focus, Lumia 800, and HD2 now for about a week and all three devices are rock solid so time for a public release.
So here are the fruits of my labor. My goal was to stay as minimal and as stock as possible. Windows Phone as it is supposed to be. Most of the changes are 'under-the-hood' type changes so your device will still look stock but you will have all the perks of a fully unlocked ROM. There is support cooked in for ultrashot's packages but the XAP's have been left out. This way if you want them you can side-load them but for those that don't there is no extra clutter to worry about. For those using build 3.00 (does not apply to 3.05+) to make things easier for you all I have included the two most important ultrashot XAP's at the bottom of this post. You will need to side-load AccountManager if you want the ability to run programs that need 'Root' and if you want the ability to install XAP's via IE you will need to side-load XapDeployer. For those that aren't concerned with any of this you don't have to do anything.

OTHER: While I have included ultrashot's unlocks and added support for his SearchKeySettings the SearchKeySettings XAP is not installed. If you would like this functionality you will have to install it. Support for SearchKeySettings has been removed as of build 1.25 because it broke voice search in bing.
BATTERY: Some users have suggested that perhaps 'Extra Settings' uses extra battery. So I have attached to this post a XAP that will 'pull' 'Extra Settings' from the 'Settings' menu thus allowing it to be uninstalled. Extra Settings has been removed as of build 1.25.

mine still unlock after the two updates 7.10.8860.142 and 7.10.8862.144 i have installed wp7 root tool and enabled the prevent relock option

I'm trying to update this clean rom 3.10a with the two cab files posted a few post earlier, but I cannot even backup current.
I get an Error: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID ~ failed due to the following error: 80040154

Hello, I Installed this Rom and it works fine but
i can't seam to get copy and paste to work ,like if
i was sent a tell number from a messeage i can't paste it
to the phone app because it dosen't show up the copy and paste

Before used this rom, but have been on roger's official 7.8 8862.144 recently. 8858 one had some slow down and tile animations causing too long to launch.. so went to stock for maybe it'll be lighter and smoother.
Wondering how is the performance now, with this rom being updated to 8862? Or there are still those slowdown issues?

Reporting in: I have successfully updated my phone to OS Version 7.10.8862.144 using Zune - I didn't use CabSender or anything else. I simply plugged my phone into Zune on the desktop (Win8), it found an update, and I let it do its thing.
I DO have WP7 Root Tools installed, and have "Prevent relock" enabled under tweaks, for what it's worth.
I originally flashed Clean ROM v3.05, I believe (that was the 7.8 8858 version that preceded CleanROM 3.10, I think).
I still have root; everything seems to work just fine as well. No problems thus far. I'll update this if I notice anything acting funny. Tiles (like email, etc.) still take forever to launch. Nothing really seems to have been "fixed".

Nokia drive doesn't open anymore, it just shows the Car logo and then crashes. Any known fixes?
Pardon the deep, but how would I come across reinstalling the app? Just deploy a new .xap?

0.) Have MAGLDR installed on your phone and Samsung Drivers installed on your PC
1.) Place the zip files 'OS.D000FF + CSC.D000FF + DFT_WPI_SAM1.exe + rapitool.exe' in a folder
2.) Go to 'Settings' -> 'about' -> 'reset your phone' -> 'yes' -> 'yes'
3.) Right when the screen goes black press and hold 'voldown + camera'
4.) Press '<-' (cancel)
5.) Plug your phone into your PC
6.) Flash OS.D000FF + CSC.D000FF with DFT_WPI_SAM1.exe
7.) Wait
8.) Go through the setup wizard on phone
