[Q] Previous steps to ICS update?

What do we have to do before flashing official ICS?

In my case, I am with rooted 3.2.1.. can I update without risk? or I have to downgrade and install official (non-rooted) 3.2.1?

Also, I have deleted some stock apps, is there gonna be any problem with that?

Same question here :) , I have read in other post that if I have CWM installed there could be some problems with the update.
I'm running a rooted stock rom 3.2.1 too, So can anyone of you upload an ICS rooted stock rom to install it by CWM?

I'm also a little confused. I just installed stock unrooted rom from acer recovery and tried to do the update but it failed. Any pointers?
