I made a cwm flashable zip with your kernel, let me know if its ok to post it in this thread.

Update: install zip from CWM recovery. ONLY 9500

Yes, i will support both devices for my Rom and kernel.

I made a cwm zip too but i didn't have much time to upload it with my low speed connection, you can post it.

So I'm on stock umade no root yet can i just flash this via Odin and i will be rooted or do i need custom recovery. I have been doing this for years yet every time i get a new phone im confused loo

You don't need CWM recovery for my Odin package, just flash it and you are Rooted.

I guess you are using the wrong toolchain, 4.7 or so, use arm-eabi-4.6 and you will be fine.

You can still compile with toolchain 4.7 but you need to disable the check warning strictly, fix the inline errors and cpu arch.

BTW, have you managed to get the exfat modules working? I can´t seem to get mine working.

This is correct. You need to disable -Werror in CFLAGS to compile under 4.7 -- which actually is a bit iffy to do for a kernel compile.

BTW, have you managed to get the exfat modules working? I can´t seem to get mine working.

Yes, same here, i didn't manage to get it working yet, but i didn't try much :) .
