I can say that these tips work really well especially setting the equalizer to +10. I need to set my volume below 50% or else the other room can hear it. The only drawback is that Clear Audio needs to be disabled as I like the sound of Clear Audio.

I use MP3 Gain, to boost my 'phone's music. Nearly all my music is from my CD accumulation. I boost my tunes to about 97.5 db.

It has effect on all of the sound out of your Z2, the whole 'Sound Enhancements' does.
