This phone is just trying to stay alive. This phone was awesome when I had it when it first came out, but LG killed it which is sad. =( I feel bad for people who just bought this phone.

Yea. I admire your loyalty to the device. But the lack of development is what got me. Also, it cannot run those intense 3d games like my n4 or sgs3 can. But I loved the g2x when it first came out. I bragged about my dual cores lol

Just completed modern combat 4. Ran nfs NW just fine. Earlier completed gta 3 and mc3 asphalt 7. So Just because Google play say its not compatible doesn't mean this won't run it. This phone was originally underclocked so overclock it to 1200 and Try the apk of one of those games and u will be amazed. Gonna play real racing 3 now. This is one beast

20 fps is not even playable.... I am playing it lag free. And when I say lag free I know what I am talking about. I am the kind of person who even found lag (low framerate) in GTA 4 on ps3 ... if u look it closely as compared to the environment then u too will notice.... trust me its not lagging. U just need to keep it 1200 MHz. Close any heavy app that is running and u r good to go

I too have played every HD game on this phone with no issues in full quality even through micro HDMI on my tv. I don't understand why anyone puts this phone down.

The actual reason I am here though... after trying out ICS and not liking it one bit I reflashed Weapon and since then I have had this extremely frustrating issue. Several times a day even though my phone shows I am connected to the network I will not receive any of my calls or text messages. I also cant send any or make any calls. Restarting the phone fixes this for an unknown period of time. The worst part is I don't know that I am not getting calls/messages until I attempt to make a call or send a message or someone tells me face to face they have been trying to get ahold of me.

Do you think reflashing may fix this? Is it hardware? I didn't have this issue up until now.

Try a full wipe. Especially format /system partition in advanced menu in CWM. Also make sure what baseband do u have and apply the same fix for it.

EdIT : just noticed its based on 2.3.3 so u may have to downgrade ur baseband if u r on March 2012 one

My baseband is July 15 2011. Sometimes when this happens my network icon will disappear completely sometimes it is still there like I said above. I did a clean install of weapon months back but have also wiped it since then to try and get rid of the issue. Any other ideas, appreciated.

Is this ROM compatible with the 21y baseband if I flash the BB fix for audio calls? Or will I HAVE to go through the painful process of downgrading my baseband....which I probably wouldn't even attempt to do lol

So I flashed this rom coming eagles blood ics 4.0.4 and it looked great. Everything was fine until I realized I had no wifi capability and no 4g network either. I flashed back to eaglesblood. I would like to use weapon but if I can't get internet to work then its not really worth it. Anyone have a fix for this? Keep in mind I am on the 2.3.4 2012 basband

I believe this should work on your device even if you are on the new baseband, you would just need to flash the fix, and do a full wipe (including system) especially if you are going between GB and ICS roms as that will cause some problems. Also if not mistaken bluetooth may not work with custom roms made before the 2012 baseband.

R u on T-Mobile? If u r I think there was an APN fix somewhere for T-Mobile .... in g2x forum. Try that and see if it helps

Funny you should bring that up. After having soo many issues on my network, I would lose network signal completely and not get any texts/calls until I or my phone reset itself. I did some poking around and found the following thread and decided to give upgrading my baseband and using the patch they have there a go. I reflashed stock unrooted, upgraded my baseband to March 2012 through LG Support Tool (you then have to reinstall Custom Recovery afterwards) and reinstalled Weapon.

At this point, having Weapon+New Baseband, calls were crackly and horrible. After flashing the "For a ROM that doesn't support the new baseband" patch, calls, internet, wifi work with no issues so far and since upgrading to the March Baseband I havent had any network issues.
