This is the latest Official Firmware from Sony Ericsson.
This is the one for the X10i models. So yea there is improvements and misc. tweaks in this.

I just wanted to thank the OP for this. I flashed it onto my Global Generic X10i and it's working like a charm. It took a little bit to removed the unnecessary stuff and get all my apps reinstalled and restored (via Titanium Pro) but so far it's working really well.
Perhaps it's a side-effect of starting from scratch but everything is running very smoothly with much less lag than I've normally seen from an initial install. Even my first sync didn't seem to lag the system that bad and I sync my personal Exchange mail (via Moxier), gmail, facebook, and corporate Exchange (via the Email apk hack).
I know some people have complained of battery drain issues. I'll report back in a few days after some normal usage.

Market isn't working on this FW, my downloads get stuck on 'Downloading .." .. any ideas? tried two fresh installs & resets to no avail.
Alrighty just got the latest FW for the X10i's.
I've decrypted it and prepared it for the latest FlashTool.
It's got the one-finger zoom. Also got a handy Battery optimizer menu.

I've made a xRecovery package to get it back, can be downloaded at the bottom of this post as an attachment.
Install xRecovery
Turn Debug mode on.
Settings>Applications>Development>Check USB Debugging
If your already rooted then just skip step 1.

- Press the "Ask Root Perms" button.
- Install xRecovery from FlashTool 0.2.6

Im waiting for the extracted FW 2.1.A.0.435 for Nordic or Global X10i. I've debranded my device to the same FW but x10i. Just want to go back to my original model. I hope it will be extracted and released soon...

Yep this firmware added Arabic, Farsi and Thai.
And it's got Dual Touch.
Press the "Ask Root Perms" button, then go to the Advanced menu pont.

Please help, I want to flash this firmware but in flashmode using flashtool 2.6, when I click flash, by the time the flashtool prepares file to flash and while I am still pressing the back button, pc companion starts and the phone continues to reboot. Please advice.

Hmm haven't heard of this problem before.
Have you cheked you running processes in the Task Manager to see if you got a adb.exe process that is running. That happened to me yesterday where I actually had to hard reset my computer because the adb process couldn't be killed.

135I've taken all Generic Kits for X10i and converted them for FlashTool.
All Branded Kits will follow in the coming days/weeks (there is 92 of them).
And all X10a kits will also be up in the same timeframe (30 firmwares).
If you're not quite sure what the abbreviated names stands for, then have a look here (some Sony Ericsson abbr. is for whole regions like NCB is for the Nordic countries Denmark, Sweden & Norway)

.....Here it is, 2.1.A.0.435 for xRecovery / Flash tool.
This ROM is pre-rooted with JIT v2, Busybox, and xRecovery installed. Everything else is untouched.
Instructions:
- Download and extract 2_1_A_0_435.tar here.
- Navigate to the folder that was extracted.
- Move 2_1_A_0_435_Update.zip to your SD Card and flash with xRecovery.
- IF YOU ARE NOT ALREADY ON 2.1.A.0.435: Flash the files in Flash_Tool_Firmware with Flash Tool.

It's not a ego thing.
I made all the generic 2.1 & 2.3 kits available. Took me loads and loads of time to do. First of all I had to download all the raw X10 files, then to decrypt them and bundle them up in ftf packs.
And now I even got all the branded phones ready to upload but now I'm really reluctant to do so because Ricardo pulled this stunt.
I know this isn't rocket science to do and not in any way my firmware, but making all the regions was something I did, and I made available, so to see him just claiming it as his work by merely uploading all my files to his own mediafire account felt/feels like he just kicked me in the nuts and had a laugh.
I never wanted anything from anyone I did this to make my life easier (because I use FlashTool a lot, really! a lot), and to make it easier for anyone else using FlashTool, that wanted to try different builds, wanted to debrand or rebrand, update or downgrade, cross test firmwares on X10i's or X10a's or what ever they now want to do with it.
If any of these files has ever been useful to anyone I would gladly upload all my files again.
This was just something I didn't wanna just stand on the sideline and watch happen, I had to do something.3
