I think if you enable wifi calling you should enable it to WIFI-Preferred. I know some people enabled it to WIFI only and it cause some problems. Not sure if this effects MMS.

I agree. Lately I have been able to send mms and I can see 4g icon along side the wifi signal bars during sending and goes away when its done.

Best workaround is to turn off WiFi when sending mms
