[HELP] Can`t Odin My Device

enable usb debugging 1st then go to download mode then connect it to pc..

I use odin 3.07 although I dont think that makes any difference - if you can get into recovery mode you can just flash any custom rom

if only download mode is available try the following

remove the battery from phone
connect usb cable to pc
push vol down home power button on phone to start download mode
push vol up
wait till pc installs drivers or it shows adb android device in your pcs device manager
open odin



if that doesnt work you can enable usb debugging via adb commands

pull default.prop from the root of your phone (if you havent got one you can create one)

make it look like this

ro.debuggable=1
persist.service.adb.enable=1
persist.service.debuggable=1
persist.sys.usb.config=mtp,adb


then push it back with adb


of course it requires adb and usb drivers installed so if you can do that you should be able to get into download mode and connect

make sure the driver is the right 1 !! and u have to be on download mode before u connect ur phone to pc..

open phone settings
click applications
click development
tick enable usb debugging


with odin you just need to install the samsung usb drivers and put your phone in download mode

Remove all drivers first
Install Kies
Kill kies from task manager
and then try

This method should work

Simple and clear .......... make sure if ur Usb is working or not bcuz thats exactly what happened to me.... It does charge when its connected but it wont show up in d Odin ......... So try it with someother USB

Wait

After you install the required drivers(for example i was using v1.3 driver) you must plug it for the first time and wait for read it by your computer. if you see an error message in balloon notification, restart the device if you on the download mode. then, plug it again. your computer will now recognized your phone and it must be shown the full detection in the balloon notification.
