sorry to say mate but I cannot change this. The rom.zip is signed and encrypted by HTC which can only be redone by them... since there is no other vodafone ruu with matching hboot it is not possible..
I'm confused, if we are meant to have a Custom ROM for this to work - how are we going to get the ROM on? We have S-On so surely we cannot flash ROMs? If we can someone tell me please and what ROM to flash? I was thinking LeeDroid but I hear Wi-Fi problems (which makes the ROM useless)
Hi,
My evo has CID VODAP120, so I guess there's no love for my device. Do you know what the difference between the Ruu's is for different branded vodaphone devices? Might it be possible to add Vodap120 and vodap021 (I've seen multiple people with that one too) to android-info.txt and the flash the RUU? Sadly, you can only find vodafone UK ruu's online with hboot 0007 or 0008. Sucks for people with vodafone France branded (SFR) or Austria like mine (A1/Mobilkom) and others.
Did anyone see my post? I need help urgently:
Sorry for spamming but I am in desperate need of help.
You don't need to be soff to flash a custom rom. The wifi problem is only for son users because they aren't able to flash a unsigned boot image from recovery. Flashing the boot image from the zip using fastboot would fix it. This does not belong here so don't post things about this again please. Reading helps mate

Like I said I downloaded TWICE and step2.exe doesn't extract it says that that file is corrupted in both downloads. Took 4 hours to download twice. and the SAME file is corrupted.
Ok I think I got it.
If follow this http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1248231 thread. to unlock bootloader and install a cmw
then flash the kernel image file of leedroid (boot.img from inside leedroid.zip) using "Fastboot flash boot boot.img" while still in fastboot mode
then enter recovery and flash the leedroid rom (the ledroid.zip)
then i should be able to boot and run your tool ? from leedroid home screen in charging mode , debug enabled/drivers installed
sorry, i just need someone who knows what they are doing to confirm.
so, new evo 3d GSM unbranded, hboot 1.49.0018 - this will work ok right?
unlock with htcdev.com and then run the tools?
just taking ages to download -.-
