[UPD 17 Dec] Welcomehead for HTC, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Dell & Acer Phones- ALL RES
Hello fellow xda users,
UPDATE1 (17 Dec): New cab for WVGA Acer devices added.
UPDATE1 (02 July): New cabs uploaded which will work on all devices. QVGA for Samsung and WVGA for Sony Ericsson added. Carrier disable cab added. For details go to post #61 here.
UPDATE1 (18 June): WVGA for Samsung and HTC available now.
UPDATE2 (19 June): WQVGA for Samsung available now. All files are now available in cabs.
UPDATE3 (19 June): VGA for Dell added.
UPDATE4 (21 June): Read WMPowerUser Review here.
I made an amazing Welcomehead/Boot screen image consisting of HTC/Samsung and Windows phone logos
. It is now available for QVGA, VGA, WQVGA and WVGA resolutions.
To install just copy the corresponding cab to your device and run it via any file explorer.
The following versions are available:
QVGA (240x320) HTC
QVGA (240x320) Samsung
VGA (480x640) HTC
VGA (480x640) Dell
WQVGA (240x400) Samsung
WVGA (480x800) HTC
WVGA (480x800) Samsung
WVGA (480x800) Sony Ericsson
WVGA (480x800) Acer
Carrier Disable cab (Device or resolution independent)
Download:
Click here to go to Mediafire folder. (xda won't let me upload more than 8 files so I uploaded all of them to mediafire)
If somebody has a problem accessing this file sharing site he/she can also download the attached cab files though the carrier disable file is uploaded only to Mediafire folder.
