Hey guys is there any chance I can get the Memo.apk in this build? I tried using the stock Froyo 2.2 Memo.apk but it won't install.....
I really really like this build, it is freaking amazing, super fast, super quick lock on GPS & the Helroz unlock works wonders on it too!
I just miss the OEM Memo.apk since it works about 10000 times better than any other one available in the Market.

Also, now that I am on vacation, for some reason I can't redownload some of the apps that I had bought previously in the Market. In fact when I search for it on the Market, they won't even show up in searches (?)

Went from nero to bionix. Had some crap lag I could get rid of, so I tried disabling and enabling voodoo. It did the trick. Now as smooth as ever.

Love the return to the touchwiz launcher as well. Its just more functional then the standard drawer.

First class work like always team whiskey!!

Will it be ok to flash over Nero V3 without disabling Voodoo? Anybody figure out the text messages in the call log thing yet? Screen shots?

Make sure you are trying to "install" Memo.apk using a program like Root Explorer. It has to be put in /system/app with the correct permission.

Try clearing your Market Data/Cache in your Manage Applications > All

I tried this suggestion to resolve the "messages in the call log" trouble but after flashing this I had the AOSPmms, but the messages were still in the call log... Any other suggestions?

If you received messages *before* you flashed this, those messages will still be in the call log. No more will be sent there from this version of messaging.

Anyone havibg problems with their Facebook contact sync? Been having this problem since V5. Login session would constantly expire and I would have to log back in. Sometimes it would just give me a sync error when checking the accounts and sync. I've tried clearing the Facebook sync data and the SNS data and still the same thing.

Try hitting "Get Friends" in the Contacts app menu option.

wifi calling apk

Hello all...I downloaded the wifi calling apk from the op and flashed using CWM recovery. However the app does not show in my app drawer and I cannot find it using Astro. Any help would be appreciated.

I haven't, but I seriously doubt it will help. It's my understanding that a jig will only work if the phone is soft bricked and/or hardware locked. Let me rephrase that. I have read that a jig only works on soft bricks.

I haven't read about anyone having success using a jig when hard bricked.

I did an Odin with the dead screen and it works properly, I mean at least the recovery and after that I could install any ROM.

I really love this rom. The shutdown animation and audio is awesome. Perhaps you could add the same pulsating S logo on the shutdown behind the team whisky start up logo.

I just confirmed that it was Nero V3 that allowed 8 open pages in the browser. Thanks to a previous poster on this site! It has the Gingerbread icon. Use Root Explorer. Rename present browser 'browser.apk.bak, then place this one in System/app alongside that one and change permissions to rw-r--r--.

File Type: apk Browser.apk (414.1 KB, 19 views)

I did a little more research on this .apk and discovered that the bookmarks cannot be edited or deleted from the browser. Maybe with one of the Market apps, but I don't know. Also, I could not find the 'Text Selection' feature mention by Jdanisevitch. Just a heads up!:)

Excellent rom but I agree. Coming from nero5 this rom is not as snappy as nero5 was. I still love it though.

I would give it a few days. I've noticed since Nero V3, that as days go by, the phone performs better. I think it has something to do with all the data and cache being wiped and as you use the phone, the info builds up again so the phone performs better.:)

    Introduction:
Bionix-v 1.3.1 is fast and incredibly smooth. By far the fastest and most stable Bionix-v build. I really tweaked the hell out of this one. I spent a lot of time finding the sweet spot. There's not much else to say, just enjoy and please leave your feedback and bug reports. This will probably be the last major update to this build as we are moving on to other builds. However, we will still provide support and necessary updates if there are bugs reported. Cheers!

    Coming Soon:
We're in the process of making a lot of themes for Bionix-v and Frost. Coming soon! Annnndddd.....android 2.3 in the works.

    Optional Kernels:
    NOTE:
Team Whiskey is not liable and takes absolutely no responsibility for any damages. Overclocking your phone adds additional stress to your hardware, so please understand the risks involved before you decide to overclock. Not all devices overclock the same, so please test the different clock speeds and see which one works best for you. Many times, certain devices will not accept an overclock at all. If you fall into this category, you will have to flash back to a stock kernel.

(all of these kernels have been compiled from official Vibrant 2.2 source code. They are include voodoo sound, voodoo color, and bln support. Bionix-v 1.3.1 already included the necessary apps for these features. Test these optional kernels and see which one works best for you!)

Just to confirm - if flashing from Nero v4/5 with Voodoo already enabled, I do NOT need to disable Voodoo to flash this, correct?

Thanks again for the awesome ROMs!

Correct, you do not need to disable it.

Enjoy everyone! And yes, this is a still a 2.2 based rom. Until we have a fully stable 2.2.1 and 2.3, this is the next best thing. I dont know about you, but I personally like my phone running fast and stable instead of just having the latest and greatest fancy number on my phone. ;)

    Oh well back to axura

You allowed a grand total of 10 minutes between your 2 posts and are quitting it? Every single ROM TW puts out, they expressly say to LET IT SIT FOR 10 MINUTES and allow things to settle in, THEN REBOOT. You flashed, immediately tried to throw an OC kernal on it, gave up to flash Axura and posted twice in the span of 10 minutes.

Sweet Jesus, does anybody read or have 5 f'ing seconds of PATIENCE?

Thanks guys. And as a side note, I am currently working on another bionix update and helping krylon with frost. We'll have some fun things out shortly.
