you link the libs of the app to a hidden partition on your sd card. i thought you've partitioned the sdcard before using link2sd.
link2sd works good, but if you want free space on your device and you use cm7 try s2e. here are great links in this forum whitch explain s2e.

Alright I'll try and explain what I mean with my link2sd problem. Right now I have 0 user apps on my phone (except link2sd) and have 27mb of space available on internal storage. When I go into settings -> apps -> downloaded -> it shows 27mb free space. I scroll to the right and go under "on sd card" it shows link2sd but 0.00b and no checkmark beside it, meaning it's on the internal storage and not on the sd card. That's fine - link2sd can not be transferred onto sd card memory. This is what happens when I try and download an app and transfer it to my sd card:
I install Titanium Backup on my phone from the Play Store. It gets installed and my internal memory goes down to 25mb of free space, 2mb down from the starting 27mb. But this is where the problem is. I scroll to the right to go to "on sd card" and it shows titanium backup there with a checkmark. I tap to enter the app and it shows me the option of moving it to my phone. 1) Why was the app installed directly to my sd card and not my phone? 2) If it shows it's already on the sd card, why did internal memory go down by 2mb? 3) If it shows it's already on the sd card, why would I have to use link2sd to create a link and put the app on the sd card (isn't it already there)?

1. Firstly there are some apps which installs directly on the sd card, I don't know why (maybe it is set by app developer for low end devices). Some games which requires large data files to be downloaded to sd card directly installs on sdcard. ( maybe titanium is creating a large backup file on sd ... I don't know)
2. When you move an app by native android app to sd method it can only move [app file] in android 2.2 and [app+lib files] in android 2.3+ but cannot move dex files which still remain in internal ( it may be shown as 2 mb )
3. To move [app+ lib files + dex] files you need to create link using link2sd

Hey... I've been using ace gt-s5830 and the latest version of 8 ball pool isn't working.
However old versions are working but u can't play further without updating it.
Please help me out.

Hi Sir,
Sir i have a Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830. I Tried to root it using Root Genius. Everything went good. But the device turned off by itself several times.
Then once again when it turned off i tried to turn it on, but it didnt.
It doesnt go to Recovery too but Download Mode is Working.
I tried to flash it back to Stock using Odin. Odin Flashes it correctly but att the end it shows a message ''Killer Timer'' which it didnt show before when i used to flash my device with the same odin. After flashing the phone doesnt Turn ON by itself rather i tried to boot it forcelly but i didnt.
In Short It Seems to me that the Recovery and Boot are wiped out of my phone.

I saw it somewhere mention that:
if using none stock bootloader, and the device was rooted.
then u have to unroot first, b4 to clear cache or do factory reset.
(btw, i don't know if it true or not.)
if u had tried every software method , and still out of luck ,
maybe the jtag riffbox is your only hope,so send it to the phone repair shops.
(the phone repair shops that can revive your phone must have that.
and i don't think many people will buy one for themselves, unless they wanna write or play around the custom firmware all the time.)

@Dr.Ghobar type it correctly and before anything type su in terminal or might be your phone does not have the flash_image binary in /system/bin.
YOU can download it and paste it to system/bin and chmod it to 0755

3. My phone does have the flash_image in /system/bin.
But I do not understand your last point: "and chmod it to 0755". Please explain it to me.

Another simple way
Sorry for troubling you, but this can be the problem:
While working on Android or Windows Terminal, the command you type is searched in directories contained in the PATH environment variable.
So type the following:
NOTE: You need to replace '<recovery_name>' by the name of the file.
If it is a zip extract it using Root Explorer and Extract the recovery.img file out to the main folder of the SD Card(/sdcard or /mnt/sdcard)

It was the way you said. When I typed and entered the command "flash_image recoveryonly /sdcard/recovery.img", I received this message: "flash_image: permission denied".
Then I changed the permissions as follows:

This time I did not receive that error but I received another error: "error scanning partitions: No such file or directory".

Do not worry you are getting worried unnecessarily
Cwm 5.0.2.6 is the best recovery for our poor SGA so do not flash other recoveries
You just have a faulty recovery.
Download fastboot binaries for windows and i know you know how to extract recovery.img from its zip
Paste the recovery of cwm 5.0.2.6 and fastboot binary in C:\ or D:\ and open cmd
In command prompt type
cd ..\
Until you see only
C:\>
Then
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
In sideload mode of your recovery generally in advanced section of the main page
If it does not work probably you need to reflash stock rom in odin
