Since MK2 is so tightly locked down, would it at all be conceivable to boot the S4 from the SD card, put some form of a ROM onto the SD and run like that, kind of what's going on w/ the HD2?

I mean, booting form an external memory source, bypassing the current software limitations.
Even if it was possible the storage source wouldn't bypass the bootloader checks.

Can always jump ship over to Sprint lol. CF Auto Root still works for them as well as using Goo to install a recovery. And they just got KitKat OTA..... Just saying

buy an mdk s4 on swappa... that's what I did... always got to check XDA before you buy a phone if you want a custom recovery.

I bought an S4 back in the MDK days, that phone decided to stop getting data, making calls, and just overheating. Even odin didn't help it. So I had to replace it w/ a vzw "clnr" that's why I'm on MK2.
