I have similar situation. After an upgrade the system started draining battery and I don't have time for full wipe for now :(

In the beginning after few reboots current got better, but now it doesn't work so.

First two screens: "before and after reboots". Four next - present behavior.

Guys,

Using this ROM I can disable definitely capacitive button lights, as they don't lit even when touched?

I would like a Nexus experience, disabling all buttons and their lights!

You can always disable those capacitive buttons with

System - > Usr - > Keylayout

then you can edit these Files
- Generic.kl
- Sec_touchkey.kl

Find these lines that need to be edited
- 139 Menu Wake_dropped
- 158 Back Wake_dropped

Add # before the lines (# - means disable)
# 139 Menu Wake_dropped
# 158 Back Wake_dropped

Restart, and you're good to go.

Use Advanced Settings to turn off the backlight (so the capacitive won't lite up).

is this thread dead?

Pongster's post from the RedPill kernel thread:
Thanks for the concern. Haven't been able to do much in the past month or so since my family is busy transitioning to a move back to the countryside to pursue some nation building opportunities we have in mind. (Think moving from Los Angeles to Iowa, a more relaxed and deliberate lifestyle) I have some projects (Agricultural/Environmental/Tourism/Community Building) that I'm looking at that will only work if I'm back there. As an entrepreneur, I almost always try to find the "Blue Ocean" opportunities where I can find it. :)

We've also decided to help expand my wife's family food services business, which we started for her parents several years ago. Her parents aren't getting any younger and they need good old family help to grow it so that everyone benefits in the long run.

We're also homeschooling 2 young children, Kindergarten and Grade 1, this year so we're preparing the work plan for the topics we'll be teaching. Quite busy AFK just with homeschooling.

As soon as the family is settled I will see if I still have time to develop and release. If not, I'll probably go on a 1.5-2 month release cycle at best, 3-4 month cycle at worst.

TL;DR
Family always comes first for me. Business/Community/Country then follow. Hopefully I can get back as soon as we've settled in.

Almost 1 Million Downloads since our HD2 days...
More Than 8 Million Page Views...
    We. Are. HyperDroid.

Welcome to HyperDroidAOXP (Android Open-Source Xtreme Project), a ROM developed for people who like to build up their own ROMs with a minimal, yet functional working base. The Android Open-Source Xtreme Project is an Android Aftermarket Firmware project that is built off the latest AOSP source as customized by the SlimRom Team.
    Highlights:
    • Built from source (HyperDroid Github), based on SlimRom and CyanogenMod 10.1
    • Major Features from AOSP based SlimROM.
    • Some features from CM and AOKP are also included.
    • ROM Built using the stable Google Toolchain
    • Stweaks, EasyUMS and Superuser built-in with a Settings entry
    • OTA powered by goo.im
    • 3rd party Apps that I find as essential are included (these are the ones I install after every fresh flash and are installed in data/app so you can easily uninstall them) e.g. Titanium Backup, Google Keep and Flipboard
    • Gapps by SlimRom built-in (including Google Now and Face Unlock)
    Performance Features:
    • Sysctl enabled, auto zipalign for ALL apps, cron schedules enabled
    • Custom hosts file to block ads
    • Sysctl tweaks included for performance
    Kernel Features:
    • Powered by the latest RedPill kernel built using the latest Linaro Toolchain! Please check the XDA thread of RedPill.
    Look, Feel, Fit & Finish:
    • Hybrid theme for the most professional look: Thanks to all 3 people!
    • Some Lucid PNG's by sonnysekhon
    • Black Exodus by Nitroz
    • AlloyWhite theme by xIC-MACIx
    • LCD Density at 242 by default
    • Themed Fastest Customizable Launcher (Apex Launcher)
    • Complete Gapps + Essential Apps (Google Keep, Terminal, etc.)
Known issues (same as CM 10.1 and most AOSP based Firmware)
Default Camera crashes when using touch to focus and flash. Workaround is to use the shutter button to focus when using the flash.

    Screenshots (Click to View)
The look we've always maintained since our HD2 ROM's are that the interface looks modern, sleek and professional. (if you ask me. )
Currently this ROM is for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 International N7100 version only.

Again, if you're posting about an issue, please include the answers to these AND a link to a log on pastebin.
