I also got rid of the ESPN logo because it looked bad.

@ilangoadigal bro when i reboot my phone the weather widget becomes blank/disappears (but it is there as when you press on it you can move it to trash). Is this normal? I have to trash that and then add it again on each reboot of the phone. Im using samsung galaxy s btw

What is "Day Up Gtasks"?
I looked on Appbrain, Google, and don't find anything. I have Gtasks installed, and am very unimpressed with it on the phone, and actually not too impressed with it on the PC.
The main concern on the phone is that it won't indent there like it will on the PC.
I'm tempted do download what you have here and check it out.

I take one thing back. I just went into my phone, and now they are indented. Must have taken a few synchs to get it right.

I will, but I would like someone to test out that Youtube app to see if it works; if it works then I can do the same with the Facebook app, since they're both the same method.

EDIT: Success! I had a little issue getting it to install. After I deleted the original youtube.apk from the /system/app folder I couldn't install the new one until I rebooted. Other than that, it's working like a charm. :-D

how do i apply these sweet skins? htc hero cdma cynagen mod 6
They're not skins, they are the full app.
1. Dl apk of choice.
2. If you already have the app on your phone, uninstall and delete the original apk. If they are a system app, i.e. youtube, you will find them in /system/app folder. Just delete the apk, reboot and proceed. If you got it from the market, then a simple uninstall will work, with no reboot.
3. Find where you dl'd the new apk to and click it. The auto install should pop up and it's pretty self-explanatory from there.

Wow you guys do such great work...I have been searching endlessly for transparent widgets ever since I got my EVO and then I stumbled onto this thread. Any chance you guys could do a Engadget transparent widget? I found one that uses Metamorph but I'm not too confident about pulling it off

I have a thing for transparent widgets. I've skinned Pandora, Weather Channel, and GTasks here at first to be transparent. You can request others for me to look at to skin.
Installation instructions: Uninstall your current app. Put the apk on your sd card. Install it using a file manager. These are full apps, not skins.

Is there anyway for you to post instructions on how to do this? Or... if you want, could you make dClock transparent? I love the widget... but don't like how you can't make the background completely transparent.

I'll take a look at dClock. But yes, I can give you a general guide how to do this. You'll need 7zip and apkManager, the second of which can be found on the forums if you search.
1. Transfer the apk from your phone to your computer. It's probably in a place like data/app.
2. Open the apk with 7zip. Do not extract the whole thing, just open it. Inside you'll see a folder called "res"; transfer that somewhere on your computer.
3. Inside the res folder you'll see a bunch of folders. The images you want to edit are usually in a folder labeled "drawable", but you may have to look elsewhere
4. Find the background image you want to edit. It might be labeled widget_bg or something helpful like that.
5. Edit it how you want. In the case of transparency, you want to delete the background and make it entirely transparent. Save it in the same format and do not change the name. (Note- if your file has .9.png in it, you have to open your edited version using draw9xpatch or whatever in the Android SDK and save it through that as well)
6. Drag the res folder with your modified images back into the archive, using 7zip. You might want to use a duplicate of the apk, just to have the original on hand in case something goes wrong.
8. Place the modified apk into the place-apk-here-for-modding folder in the APK Manager folder
9. Open up script.bat. Select your project using option 22.
10. Do the following things- Extract APK (1), Zip APK (3), zip as regular apk (2), sign apk (4)
At this point you should have a signed version of the apk in the place-apk-here-for-modding folder. You can transfer it to your phone now and install it. Or install it directly onto your phone through apk manager if you have ADB enabled.6Heres the latest facebook, 1.4.1. Unfortunately I probably can't catch every single update though I should be able to update them eventually. I wish metamorph worked with Market apps.

Turns out a bug in apk-tool made this one slightly difficult. Using an older version helped, and here it is. Transparent twitter.
