hmm.. good question!
the specs look equal to our phone.

could you prepare the mountpoints for me?
Type this in commandprompt:
Code:
adb shell "mount > /sdcard/mountinfo.txt"
On your sdcard there should be a textfile called "Mountinfo.txt".
Please send me the contents out of it.
Then i could give you a information.[/QUO

can help me, I'm not getting

AtrixTV XT687 ver 2_27G_2009

Normaly it should work on your phone.
Tell me, what where was the point you got an error?

The same with me. Please help me.
My XT687 version (firmware) is 2_27G_2009 differently others ( 2_27D_2009) that this method works.
I'm not sure if this is the difference.
My device doesn't have fastboot, but it's rooted.
I'm not sure if this is the difference too.

My device simply reboot and I can't see any thing different of this.

Sorry for may bad English.

Hi, I installed this temp recovery, but I did't noticed that SD card is unpluged. So when I canceled recovery and tryed to turn on my motoluxe it's just showing starting motorola logo and nothing more. What should I do?

The temp recovery is not installable.
As its says its a temp recovery.
NOTE: Everytime you want to use this type of recovery, you have to reexecute the script

You´ve made changes in the recovery?
You have a nandroid backup?

Permanent CWM Recovery and 2nd-init for XT615

SORRY, GUYS REMOVING THE ATTACHMENTS. THE SCRIPTS DON'T WORK AND I DON'T WANT TO SCREW YOUR PHONES UP SO I'LL FIX IT WHEN I HAVE TIME. PLEASE DISREGARD THE OLD POST. THANKS.

Code:
Hey, I have found a sh hijack in the init.rc files. I extracted the SBF and and I reviewed the init.rc of XT615. There was an exploit Motorola left and it is called loggerlauncher. It is also the same exploit in the Fire XT530 to boot into 2nd-init. I don't own a XT615 but I have tried it on my Defy Mini (using the Defy Mini CWM 6 of course) and it works. :)

[SIZE="4"][B]What is 2nd-init?[/B][/SIZE]

2nd-init lets you boot into custom init.rc scripts and custom recoveries such as CWM, TWRP therefore letting you to use and flash custom ROMs such as Cyanogenmod, AOKP, AOSP ROMs. 2nd-init DOESN'T let you boot custom kernels or unlock the bootloader. 2nd-boot is the one that lets you boot custom kernels but the there are no sources to compile 2nd-boot kernel for Qualcomm Chipsets. 2nd-init runs from the /system partition therefore it is impossible to brick your phone. Remember the bootloader and the recovery partition is locked out and signed so we have to run custom recoveries from the internal memory. It is IMPOSSIBLE to hardbrick your XT615.

More information can be found at: [url]http://cvpcs.org/blog/2011-06-14/2nd-init._what_it_is_and_how_it_works[/url]

[SIZE="4"][B]Why do we have to use 2nd-init?[/B][/SIZE]

The Motorola Motoluxe XT615 bootloader is locked so we can't flash custom kernels and recovery. This is when 2nd-init comes into play. It loads up before the Android system loads therefore letting you to boot into custom init.rc scripts and a custom recovery to flash ROMs, make nandroid backups and etc.

I have made a CWM 5 and CWM 6 version for the Motoluxe.

Requirements:

- Make sure phone is rooted
- Make sure you have USB Debugging enabled

How to install CWM and 2nd-init for Motoluxe:

1. Extract the zip file making sure all the files in the same place.
2. Double click on the file named Runme.bat.
3. Don't disconnect phone until it says '[*] 2nd-init and CWM Recovery installation complete!'

How to Load CWM recovery on Motoluxe

1. Press Volume Down before the soft key lights load up.
2. Use volume keys to navigate and power button to select options.
3. To load CWM select Recovery then Custom Recovery and it should load up your desired recovery.

How to boot into 2nd-init:

1. Press Volume Down before the soft key lights load up.
2. Use volume keys to navigate and power button to select options.
3. To boot into 2nd-init select Boot, then select 2nd-init.
4. To boot into stock select Boot, then select Stock.

Known issues:

2nd-init:

- adb shell not working
- Can't download apps in Google Play

CWM 5 (CWM 5.0.2.8):

- Wrong Resolution
- Nandroid Restore issues.

To restore nandroid backup use this command:

[CODE] fastboot flash system system.yaffs2.img
Code:
 fastboot flash data data.yaffs2.img

CWM 6 (CWM 6.0.3.2):

- Asks to disable recovery flash when selecting 'Reboot system now'. Make sure select no or you will soft brick your phone!
- Maybe Nandroid Restore issues.

Credits:

- Skilax_CZ for inventing 2nd-init
- Awesomeabhjeet for CWM 5, bootmenu and the sh hijack of loggerlauncher
- Enox.co for CWM 6
- Me for making the installer and packing it in .tar packages

Make sure press the thanks button if it works. :good:[/CODE]

What is Mini Flash ?
Is to flash a old SBF using RSD Lite without battery for about 3 seconds after begin run flash text on device screen until you see MODEM, when you pull off USB cable. After this your device will shutdown instantaneously. The result: latest firmware with fastboot of an old firmware:D.
If you do all right, you don't lose any data. If you let pass of the point, will softbrick your phone. In this case you have FULL FLASH your favorite (latest) SBF and after to try again.
It works on Defy Mini and Atrix TV XT687. Others models I don't know.

I scaped the bootloop

Probably is too late to help you, but I'll tell you something that happened with my XT687 that may help someone.

I can use CWM 6.0.2.7 as temp on my device since I got fastboot as explained. Recently I tried a deodex rom process described in a thread. The result was my device bootlooping. I had made a nandroid before but I could not restore it due bootloop. Then I decide to connect my phone on PC via USB and observing drivers in all bootloop phases. I noticed when a sound went on, the driver "Motorola Composit ADB Interface" was loaded but a little secs after the phone was rebooted again. Then I did:
1) kept my phone bootlooping connected on PC via USB
2) with my right hand I leaded mouse point on .bat to double click it quickly at the right moment
3) my left hand was ready to type ENTER just after double click
4) began the both actions, double-click--ENTER just before the sound and invariably the device was not found
5) suddenly I got it ! device found and adb reboot-bootloader executed before loop point and I restored my nandroid perfectly

    for Motorola Motoluxe XT615

    Foreword
At the time there are two different kind of CWM recoverys. Both have their positiv and negativ characteristics. Some say the installable is better then the temp once, other think in a other way. So choose for your own and make your own experience.

    Installable Recovery
At first your phone has to be rooted! In the next step you have to activate "Unknown Applications" (Settings > Applications).
Download the attached recovery(ENG).apk below or click for download. Copy the file to your sdcard and navigate to the directory where you have pasted the file in.
Click on it and install the APK.

Now you should have a app called "System Recovery" in your menü. Before you continue you have to connect your phone to a power supply or to your PC.
Now open the app and press the button with the title "Enter Recovery". You will be asked if you want to give the application root right.
Agree and the phone will boot into recovery mode!

As usual you navigate with volume+, volume- and except with the powerbutton.

    NOTE:
    - You´re just able to enter custom recovery while your phone is connected to PC or power supply.
    - This version of CWM has a restore bug, so you should not restore a nandroid backup with this version!

    Temp Recovery
By this type of recovery you have to execute a batchscript on a PC running Windows.
Unzip the archive and double click on the "-=Recovery-loader=-.bat". Further instructions are mentioned in the script.

NOTE: Everytime you want to use this type of recovery, you have to reexecute the script

v6.0.2.7 (recommended version / click for download)
    - Language: English
    - no MD5 mismatch error
    - no root required!
    - after long time of testing, we can say it´ll work for 99%

    v6.0.1.5 (click for download)

    v6.0.1.4 (click for download):

    Changelog
25.01.12: Added new temp recovery 6.0.2.7 by enox and set as recommanded version
18.10.12: Added new temp recovery 6.0.1.5 by enox and set as recommanded version
03.10.12: Removed chinese Temp-Recovery 5.5.0.4 because englisch Temp-Recovery 6.0.1.4 is fully functional too and now recommanded to use
    22.09.12: Published CWM Recovery

    Suuuuuper tutorial,thx man//
luxxx123 what happens if you click press the button with the title "System Recovery" my phone is NO connected to PC or power supply?????

the command behind the button only shuts down the phone.
when it is connected to the pc or power supply it will automaticly start into charge-mode.
normaly you'll see a big battery thats charging.
But this process got hijacked so that it loads the cwm.

At all.. when you press the button without a connection to anything it just shuts down ;D

Possibly youtube video? May the ruin be backup with this procedure? Baggier Ira one possibly?!
My need would be original ruin rescue.
    thank you

Sorry, i don´t realy understand what you mean..

    3
    Hi

I tried it and it works to backup ... :)

just do not understand this sentence ...
    "NOTE:
    -
    - This version of CWM has a restore bug, so you should not restore a nandroid backup with this version! "

    Works the restore it?
This means that you do not restore the saved rom?

When you restore via recovery(ENG).apk then your phone will brick!
So just restore with the temp recovery.
    2
Hi, how to remove the device from the root Installable Recovery?
The application is removed, but the root is still working!
    Solution?
    Or, do not hurt me!

    thank you

You want to remove the installed CWM? That gets executed via APK?
Should be realy easy just delete the "battery_charger"-symlink and paste in the original file.

When you want to unroot your phone, you have to flash a sbf or do a factory reset.
