I got to admit, this ROM isn't perfect, at least yet. I would appreciate any help with development.

Currently, these things need to be fixed:
- Bluetooth
- Camera on 5MP&5MP devices

Using this ROM
The biggest help you can give me is just using this ROM ;) If you're using E3DLight as a daily-driver, you're my hero, you're making me feel like I need to develop this ROM more ;) Also, users are cool because they report bugs and other crap, testing is the essential part of the development!

Not now, sorry, I have only one Evo 3D GSM, and I've already restored a backup of fully functional ROM, I have no time to make screenshots atm :(
I'll make them tomorrow :)

Anyway, it doesn't matter, ROM looks almost absolutely like any other AOSP ROM, just a stock look and feel.

i really need to say sorry before.

but there are aosp ICS based out there, maybe you can help , Rather than developing gingerbread aosp. gingerbread for dualcore, is useless. ICS would be a miracle.:cool:

Btw is camera working? Cos it seems on all the AOSP roms camera won't work, and ask ganii/copenhagen cos they found a fix for wifi and audio, cant quite remember what it was

Hm... I have one of those devices that came with 007 hboot when the first shooteru's came out. Which sensor I have then? I have no idea.
I don't even tried the rom, it's just written in the OP that it is working that way... no clue :p

Well, I've got a second E3D today, with 5MP+5MP, Camera app seems to show one frame and then FC.

On 5MP+3MP camera works pretty good, but if you switch to camcorder camera app will constantly FC until reboot.

Need to dig logcat, need to dig logcat...

Yea I thought so. Because people in miui say that camera works with the mower 2nd sensor.

And yea 3MP 2nd sensor sucks. I have the 5+ 5 :D

Wow, really? There are versions of the 3vo with worse camera than others?

Mine has Hboot 7 so I guess I have the lower one...

What's the difference between the two?

Not much I guess, since the second camera is only used in 3D, and 3D pictures don't use the full 5MP anyways am I right? So since the first camera is still 5MP 2D photos should be the same. I'm mostly guessing here so correct me if I'm wrong.

If sound and wifi were working and battery life really is that good (I have read from evo 4G user that AOSP batt life is amazing) then I might use this as a daily driver

Hey Adiost,

I just had a try on this nice work and I have to admit that it's great to have this familiar feeling on the evo 3D. Just before i owned a Motorola Milestone and it worked with CM7.

So I've got used to this clean style and this nice functions - my heart just made a little jump seeing the nice bubbles for unlocking the Screen :) and I love to push the notifications away.

Bluetooth doesn't work right now, Wlan is working as far as I'm able to connect to my router at home, but there is no internetconnection via Wlan(the normal Internet works quite well).
I don't see your point with the Home Button - for me it just works fine :) without any problems.
It seems that battery doesn't work properly.

But all in all - wow, great.
If these bugs get fixed for sure some cm7lovers will use this mod(including me :) )

I have friends at phone repair service :) I don't own two E3Ds, I just borrowed the second one for testing purposes ;)

Okay, guys, I'm fixing the bugs and trying to make this ROM 100% free of malfunctioning, stay tuned for updates ;)

    I was going to release the second version in mid-july, but that didn't happen because I came up with an idea to change the whole philosophy. I'm developing ROM which isn't just super fast and responsive, but also it is going to be comfortable to use. On AOSP/CM9 there's a huge lack of features, necessary for comfortable everyday use of the phone. The first preview of E3DL2 is going to be based on current TeamEvo CM9 (abragen/sec_fry) builds, and it will be intended to test features, related to post-compile work, such as apps and speed/stability tweaks. But without any doubt, i'm already testing my own build, made with another toolchain, which makes ROM ALOT faster, but it could also cause severe instability.
    And just in case, sec_fry (dev, who compiles that nice CM9 rom for all of us) is supporting my project and he's glad to provide a base for a first preview.
    That's all for now.
