mirror4cast could mirror the screen of any android device to your chromecast.

Note:
your android device MUST be rooted;
there is no audio for mirroring;
there is about 0.5 second delay for screen mirroring;

If you want cast video/audio, not mirroring, you could try y2cast.

Comments from one user:
I have had the same problem as most others, with the full versions service not starting. The way around it was to start the service in the trial version, then close the app (task switcher and swipe away), then open the full version. The service was already started and does not end like the trial version. Worked great after this work around.

the issue of "mirror service" is fixed in 1.04, and confirmed by Criminal23 with NotePro 12.2;

Is your android device ROOTED?

1. press button of "mirror service";
2. it will ask you to approve it to get "ROOT" permission;
3. allow it to get "ROOT" permission;
4. status of "mirror service" will be changed to "Running";

If I then press the button, the text on the buttom will show up

How do you apply the permission?
Will it prompt a message box to let you allow the permission?

What will show when you press button of "Mirror service"?

What's the version of your android device?

I applyed normally, ...
After install M4c i connect to my Chromecast.
Status switched to "connected"
Then press "Start Mirror service" -> SU popup pop up -> applyed -> short loading (2sec.) -> text on buttom: "Couldnt start mirror service" (like in all of my screener)

I tested with my SGS3 and SGNP, listed in my signature

could you provide information by following command:
adb shell getprop | grep cpu

BTW:
Have you tried on 4.4?

On my S3 I'm running stock 4.4.2 Beta port from Note2.
On my NotePro is running stock 4.4.2

Same problems on both devices

Output of shell: "device not found"

Do you mean, it could not start mirror service?
Or it could start mirror service, but could not see the mirroring on chromecast?
