I found a new kitchen (ArchiKitchen). This will be a good tool to cook a custom Stock ROM for i9515 (i.e. deodexed, rooted, debloated, zip aligned, etc..).
Although installing the cooked ROM needs custom recovery which voids warranty

I did the same deodex and it wasn't working! Well done thenyes, everything is working since its a stock 9515 ROM. I just made some mods as listed above.
I did the same on my 3 hrs s5 i think i was the first to flash philz recovery the day before official launch of the phoneThanks
But the payoff is voiding warranty for life for my 3 days old S4 hahaha..

Hi, have you try a nandroid backup or restore by custom recovery?
I have the same problem to access the Backup folder on the internal memory, but it works well on a USB stick with CWM 6.0.4.7, but that's ok with philz 6.0.4.7.
