HI WE ALL KNOW WE HAVE KDZ GREATER THAN 1 GB AND GIVES US KDZ ERROR WHEN USED WITH OLD FLASHTOOL.

WE'LL HERE IS THE NEW LG FLASHTOOL USED FOR NEWER PHONE LIKE LG G2 WHICH HAS GREATER THAN 1GB KDZ FILE!
100% WORKS. IUSED IT TO FLASH A 1.2GB KDZ FILE F180K_00N

Credits to @hyelton for the method and filehosting

REQUIREMENTS:
MUST HAVE LG DRIVERS
MSXML
.NET FRAMEWORK INSTALLED

1.DOWNLOAD THE ROM/KDZ

2.DOWNLOAD LATEST LG MOBILE SUPPORT TOOL

http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/client/app/B2CAppSetup.exe

INSTALL IT WHEN DONE. CLOSE AND END PROCESS ON TASKMANGER.

3.DOWNLOAD LG R&D TOOL
http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/LG+Optimus+G+Pro/Programs/

4.GO TO DOWNLOAD MODE POW+BOTH VOL BUTTON PRESSED+CONNECT USB


6) Extract FlashTool and run UpTestEX.exe

7) In R&D Test Tool window,
Select Type = 3GQCT (top left hand side)
PhoneMode = DIAG (top right hand side)
Select kdz file = click to select your LG stock rom *.kdz
Click "Normal web upgrade test" (bottom right hand side)
Then another window will pop up, click "Upgrade Start" button
wait a few seconds, another window "Select Country & Language" pop up,
=> Country=Republic of Korea
=> Language=English
you can click ok to proceed

8) All Done and wait for finish!

Many thanks to davevinci.

I've mistaken using USB 3.0 port on my notebook to flash, switch to USB 2.0 and everything goes fine.

also it's important to use rear usb ports if you are on a desktop pc.no usb hubs or usb extension cables. low quality cables can give you errors.

Yest I reflashed my whole mobile with old flash tool with this setting
Type:3GQCT
Phone mode:Emergency (not CS_Emergency)

i flashed v10D kdz of India.
It showed me file extract error and it continued after that.
first time but very strange as it successfully flashed the complete file.:confused::confused:

Hi guys,

I'm getting an error message (please find image attached).

I've followed the procedure step by step on one desktop PC and on a notebook, both running windows 7. My OG it's an E987.

Any ideas? thanks!

You are running the lg flashtool, u must run first R&D, flashtool will open from there

I'm having the same error. Cannot connect between pc and celphone...it gets stucked at 15%..
Im running as admin, haave the latest lg drivers...don't know what to do:rolleyes:

I ran it first from the R&D tool, and as you said, the flashtool opened from there.

I was running the application as admin as well...I'm not sure what else could I do.. :confused:

Hi! U could provide us a screen by screen capture of what u are doing? Also if u are in windows 7/8 or vista

Windows Vista, 7, 8 are using the KDZ flashing before you run the utility if you have to eliminate the possibility of error, open Explorer, in the Address bar, enter% programdata%, and then the move, LGMOBILEAX folder is found First, delete it.

Hi have u installed MSxml 4.0 and .net framework?

Also in vista/7/8

Windows Vista, 7, 8 are using the KDZ flashing before you run the utility if you have to eliminate the possibility of error, open Explorer, in the Address bar, enter% programdata%, and then the move, LGMOBILEAX folder is found First, delete it.

have both installed on my pc...but problem still persists...i've tried in 2 different compúters without succes..so..dont know what else to do :S

    Hey guys I want to comment that I succed flashing KDZ bigger tan 1GB with this methot. Previously I was using CM11.
    It was ver hard, first time i tried on my 32 bits Windows seven laptop and nothing, then I moved to my 64bits one and no problems.
    Recommendatios:
    Delete every LG driver/program, restar and begin from zero.
    Follow steps carefuly one by one (dont forget to kill LG MOBILE SUPPORT TOOL after its installation)
    I can see that problems begin when using In R&D Test Tool window,
    What I did:
    7) In R&D Test Tool window,
    Select Type = 3GQCT (top left hand side)
    PhoneMode = DIAG (top right hand side)
    Select kdz file = click to select your LG stock rom *.kdz
    Click "Normal web upgrade test" (bottom right hand side)
    Then another window will pop up, click "Upgrade Start" button     U MUST WAIT AND WAIT A LITTLE BIT MORE HERE


    Choose as stated and if new firmware download refuse to start, then restart program again and from options, choose UPGRADE RECOVERY and wait. IT WILL WORK
    If after instalation you cant pass LG logo, just hard reset (from vol down and power buttons)
