Can someone tell me what's the difference between the
P999-CM-Kernel-054-sv-stable.zip
and
P999-CM-Kernel-054-sv-lg-stable.zip
kernels? What difference does the Low Grade (lg) mean?
Installed faux 054 SV. Haven't played around with undervolting yet.sv you can undervolt with sv stable. LG ver you cannot. Sv means stock voltage.

Do I have to use Pimp My CPU for undervolting?
Anyway, phone gets really hot at 1.5GHz. I'm still running tests.
At one point my G2X wouldn't turn on, I removed the battery (original OEM battery) and it was very hot.
There is one problem with faux kernel and it is with playing videos. I even tried this at only 1.1GHz max. If I play a video, any video, even for just one second, when I stop playing the video I can't scroll, swipe, or pinch-zoom anything. I can't pinch-zoom the video I'm playing either. This happens if I use MX Video Player the built-in video player, or any video player.
That means I can't scroll the desktop, the task bar, menus, nothing. The screen will only respond to a tap, nothing else. I have to press the power button to turn the screen off, then turn the screen back on again, and scrolling is enabled again. Is this a known bug?
Thanks for everyone's help. It would have been nice if there was a bug list for faux.
Can I assume all faux-based kernels has this bug, like Mazout360's kernel?
Yeah, but when playing video I can't pinch-zoom or scroll, so Faux is out for me.Its been mentioned in this thread. Maybe Ill compile a bug list for my kernels thread. Digging through thia thread is a headache.
Mazout just used source, he has fixed that issue.
As long as you exit an app that kills those lights, you should be fine.
Try Trinity T15 if your not happy with Faux.
Or Maz's 205OC . Stay away from 218 , I've had nothing but issies.
Does the voice lag still exist?
Also, can you test wifi call on another hotspot at say a friends house?
Did you guys notice there was a new faux kernel version 55 on July 9th???
