[Q] Bricked RAZR MAXX will not boot into Fastboot menu
Ok....so here are the chain of events. I had stock 4.1.2 running on my RAZR MAXX (XT912). I was a little unhappy with the performance of a few stock apps since I have been on the 4.1.2 and remembered they ran very well on 4.0.4 so I downloaded the FXZ file and used the older version of the RAZR utility that was for that specific version of Android.
I do not recall which line it was, but it did fail on one line during the flashing.
Now, I get the 4.0.4 Motorola splash screen that actually had the words Dual Core Technology under the red M but I only see that for a few seconds and the screen goes dark and no more activity.
I also tried to boot back into Fastboot mode to just revert back to 4.1.2 but all I get is a quick flash on the screen that goes away and a few seconds later, the red M comes back up and goes away.
It seems that it knows it is trying to open the fastboot mode, but I am assuming that since the upgrade to 4.1.2, you are not supposed to go back to 4.0.4.
Any help to get this phone unbricked would be greatly appreciated.
