it will work on all 4.1.2 roms

Just tried the odexed version on odexed emb2. Messages icon disappeared from my dock and in apps. Checked in /system/app and apk + odex is there.

Just copied my original files back to system and messages popped back in apps.

Did notice a big difference in file sizes.

if the apk disappear is not a good sign. It's strange, in my phone all is well.

You have emb2 stock, right?

You did wipe cache and wipe Dalvik-Cache after install?

You clear the data of messaging in application manager, after install?

Yes using stock odexed emb2. Well stock as in stripped down to raw functions. Installer script says lf6 but maybe thats just not been changed.

I see a 1.5mb difference in the apk size compared to original. Odex file is more or less the same size as original.

From the way its behaving I would say this mod is for an old version maybe pre 4.1.2.

But if you say its working on your phone and your running stock odexed emb2 then I dont know what to say.

After installing I lose messages from installed apps, dock and apps drawer.

All modifications were made on EMB2 secmms.apk. The size difference is due to the option to not compress the apk during compilation.

I dont edit the installer script. No time for that.
