How's this, just replace the files in the device or they need to be cooked in???

Just replace, rename or delete your existing "StartMenu_GridScene_xxx_xxx.cpr" to something else, this will free up about 3-5 MiB of RAM, depending on ho many icons you have.

I've a little problem guys..

I was performing HardSPL on my i-mate JASJAM WM5... and when mobile was rebooted to complete the procedure, the Hard SPL program in computer says, can't connect the device..

Now, even if I boot my WM5 and try to connect with computer, My i-mate won't give response and in my computer it is shown .. Unrecognized device is attached..

Please help!

Ok! so here you are...! I followed you on facebook before I performed all this steps. and also have asked you something in PM on facebook.

Anyways, I just performed my WM5 hard reset and It's connected again..!

I just gotta ask you, when I perform HSPL, to continue the procedure of course the mobile will reboot.. and it will be disconnected with the computer... So how to keep it connected on the boot time?

Once that you run the HSPL and the device prompt you to accept some unknown app to be launched... it becomes blank screen.... then it turns off and reboots in teh called BOOTLOADER MODE (tricolor screen with IPL and SPL data on it) then it will ask you in a screen of you PC XP to select the mode to upgrade say yes yes update next jajaja it will start to upgrade the SPL to HSPL SPL 2.XX.OLIPRO once it restarts enter in bootloader manually and check if your SPL change to that format

Ok.. So I'm stuck after the step of "BOOTLOADER MODE"..

When my i-mate JASJAM shows the BOOTLOADER screen (with 3 different colors).... the HSPL tool which we're using into computer gets stuck and gives me this error.

& after it my i-mate won't connect to computer unless I hard reset it with inbuilt WM5 ROM.

can you enter into bootloader mannualy then go out form bootloader with simply softreset..

what does the SPL says????

you must to install net frameworks 2, 3, 3.1, and 3.5 i think that is the process but the latest is 3.5 and you need it

if you install that apps your PC will be ready to run the RUUWRapper and upgrade your SPL to HSPL 2.10.Olipro

be sure to have so much battery charge almost 100% and dont have the storage card inserted

1) I don't know how to enter into bootloader manually and check SPL status.

can you describe how to do it?

2) I will try to search and install .NET framework 3.5 for Wm5 now.

What Windows version is your pc running? So far, I've never seen anything but trouble doing upgrades like this in Vista and Seven. Finding a XP machine is highly recommended. For me even a virtual XP machine on my Win7 system worked.

Once the HSPL done, I'm not connecting it anymore for upgrades. Always doing it from SD card and works flawless.

Hey guys,
~~Currently I'm on i-mate JASJAM.. with WM5 ROM in it.
1)I've done SPL and HSPL from the first link given for n00bs.
2)Now, In order to upgrade my ROM to "Official ATT WM6 Striped".. I've to select my BOOTLOADER version from below screen.
3)In my bootloader of i-mate, There is written like this...
HERM100
IPL-1.04

HERM100
SPL-2.10.Olipro

Now, when I give "Auto detect" option on the "Official ATT WM6 Striped" tool, It gives me error of "Unknown Bootloader, You should try safe SPL".

My question is:
Which option should I chose in that window of attached picture?

Button dont works? wich button? internet is not set, messaging is not set, camera i tho it works ok in gamma.

The hardreset by itslef is due to not flash first the stock stripped att rom
please follow the big RED words in the first post.

choose the last one!!!2.02-- 2.10--2.30 New booloader

and chosee its hardspled? yes! check that too

remember so much battery unplug your SD card and dont launch any app during the upgrade process.

just a stupid newbee question : is this Hermex ROM compatible with my SPV M3100 ? I think yes becaus I even flash my mobile phone with a 6.5 ROM but I'm not sure !

of course I had hardset phone after your ROM, but do not understand why the machine crashes again, and when I restart the phone it automatically hardset always, in part, why titanium weather defective when recorded with your home directory on a memory card, also in virtual keyboard missing characters "|" should not set the weather for my home. Thank you all.

That happens when you don't flash the AT&T ROM first.
