Phone Choosing what apps constantly use web/wifi.

Hello all,

I have a question. Do any of you awesome XDA Peeps know of an app that allows you to select what apps sync with wifi and what apps can use the data provided by cellphone company?

I have a whopping 200mb from AT&T and I keep my mobile data turned off. I use quick settings to turn it on or off. I would like to be able to receive and send emails from my phone, but I don't want my phone to keep syncing or searching for updates, like facebook or weather. The problem I have when I turn my mobile data off is, if someone is sending me a text with a picture, I have to turn my mobile data on or else I wont be able to see the picture because my phone won't automatically download it.

Or is this something that has to be done per app?

I thank you in advanced!

Figured it out. I rooted my phone and installed Avast, trying it out for now. So far so good! Thanks for the replies!
