I just got a Gen 2 Device with Android 2.2. I rooted, installed cm and i saw i have only 160 mb on /data. I previously had a Gen1 device, which i TPTed to GEN2 and i had there around 240 mb space on /data. So how can i change the partition layout. Can i tpt to gen1 and then back tpt to gen2?
Hi, I have installed cm9 before change partition sizes. And now I want to change it, but I can't enter in the mode for that (vol+ + menu and power on). The mobile always starts. What I need to do to solve this?
thanks
Ur pressing the wrong key combo.
Try keeping only volume- (volume down) pressed. If it still starts, press power + volume down + menu

I didn't create the TPT helper, so I can't give any support for that.
Hello ppl
I need some help
I want to try ICS on my ZTE Blade, so I have to increase my System particion.
I downloaded the TPT helper from the market. Then I choose to create a new TPT, Gen 2 TPT, CyanogenMod, ClockworkMod 5.0.2.0 and finally I put the values for each particion. 2MB for cache, 220MB for System and 219MB for data.
After that he generates the image folder plus the files.
After that I power off the device and restarted pressing the menu, vol+ and power switch.
It spears a black screen and the green text. It stands that for more then 10 minutes and I think that it's not doing nothing at all. It won't reboot to recovery.
Note that already I did the upgrade from gen1 to gen2, to install CM7
Did I did something wrong?
Thank you for your time.

@wbaw - Which of your TPTs is best for?
Gen 1 to Gen 2 v10f seams to small-sized:
"Gives a 180MB system [...] Great for ICS."

Then what should be the size of/cache for good functioning of market on any ROM
Hey wbaw I had previously updated my blade from Gen1 to Gen2 (using 140 mb system tpt). For CM7 I wanted 160 mb system partition, so I used this v9 tpt image.
But now my phone is not getting past big green Android Logo. I cannot even enter recovery mode
What could be the solution? thanks
PS: I checked md5 before flashing
