Whether or not CWM.zip is theoretically safe for rooting only is irrelevant. Fact is, you can brick your note while on it and is therefore DANGEROUS and must not be used.
I bricked mine by doing a wipe on it (stock LQ2 at the time). Got confused and thought I was on Abyss touch (they look similar do they not?). Thankfully grey retailer replaced phone, but others may not be so fortunate if the same thing happens to them....
