Anybody found the fix to the problem with the gallery force closing? Other than that this ROM is perfect for me.

Mine is working fine. The only issue I'm having with the gallery is that the preview photos and folders are cut in half or something lol nothing worth complaining about since the photos appear fine once viewed. Try darkside wiping, reflashing, wiping again and then fixing permissions

Well I'm already did that 5 times and no luck. I'll stay in R4 with the new kernel then. I'm very happy with this ROM I'm in heaven, thank you.:D

Just wanted to give you guys an fyi if you are restoring to a non cm backup. This is my experience. I tried to restore to jugg and halfway through the restoring data through cwm it said data restore could not be completed due to unable tonfind folder. I thought for a moment and flashed juggs then i booted to cwm and it restored perfectly. Could this be due to how the storahge mounts are placed. Like emmc is sonething and sd is somethibg else. My baclups are stored on sd card.

Use darkside superwipe before restoring. I had this problem happen on another rom and nothing would restore properly. Used superwipe and restores happened np.

    I Am Not AFFILIATED with the CyanogenMOD Team.. Any Comments by me are not the views of CyanogenMOD!

    Please Read ENTIRE Post

    CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include <std_disclaimer.h>
    /*
    * Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
    */

    CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
