Re: [ROM] [AOSP] MMuzzyROM for Manta - Jelly Bean 4.2.1 - JOP40G

I'm using your rom since day one and I'm just waiting your 4.2.2 release. Don't change your philosophy, please.

Thanks.

Thank you. I think we'll have it ready tomorrow. I releases on toro, toroplus, maguro and mako all went great today. I :)

Sounds good. I really want to try out this on my nexus 10. Also have the Nexus 7 and 4 so would like to use the same ROM across all three. Don't know why I like doing this but it just seems like I get the same experience of use, tools, etc. Really looking forward to the 4.2.2 on Nexus 10. I don't have that many random reboots these days but things still get kinda wacky and require restarting the tablet.

Looking forward to trying this on all the Nexus devices :) Thanks for your support.

Works great

Hey everyone. The other device versions of the ROM went without a hitch but I'd rather have someone make sure things boot up ok before I update OP. If someone is brave enough to nandroid and check things out for me I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

4.2.2 ROM
Official GAPPs should still work fine.

Thank you for your excellent work.
I was waiting for your rom. Installed correctly and works far everything I've tried.
Thank you for Android 4.2.2 :victory:

edit
Does not the kernel version 4.2.2 brings?
It was observed that according to the same previous versions

Thank you :)

That was the kernel that was in the factory image posted. If there is a newer kernel for the device I'll add it to the next release. The 4.2.2 binaries are added so any 4.2.2 kernels will work fine.

LOL. Don't mind me, I kept changing my post as I reread that... caffeine isn't working apparently. I'm glad it worked. :)

Hey, thanks for the rom.

Still, by GPL you're obliged to release at least your kernel source. There's a link to https://android.googlesource.com, not to your kernel source? Or am I missing something?

Edit: nevermind, you're likely using stock kernel.

I've received zero feedback from the last build. I know better than to assume that's a good thing. If someone running it can confirm everything looks ok I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Re: [ROM] [AOSP] MMuzzyROM for Manta - Jelly Bean 4.2.2 - JDQ39

I upgraded two days ago from your February build and then flashed the March gapps over your new ROM yesterday. Over the last two days, I've given it a pretty heavy workout: surveying with GPS2GoogleEarth, watching movies with an HDMI cable onto my TV, reading, doing email, &c. It has performed flawlessly without even a single SOD which I sometimes would get w/ the February build. I also appreciated removing the AOSP Calendar in favor of the Play store Calendar - the colors are once again distinguishable and match the web version on my desktop.
Thanks very much. Keep up the great work.

AOSP JellyBean 4.2.2. Official Source Build hot off the AOSP servers. This ROM is AOSP. The only files that were changed or added were to make things nicely functional. Thanks to everyone for the kind words, technical help, suggestions, and for using the ROM!

This ROM is closely related to builds I make for Toro, Toroplus, Grouper and Mako.

    ----------------
    Features include:
    - Deodexed
    - Root with Superuser
    - Expanded Desktop
    - Quick Settings Mod (Kevdliu)
    - Enhanced Power Menu (Craig Gomez)
    - Power Menu Screenshot (CM)
    - Play app auto restore
    - Lean and fast build from AOSP

    ----------------
    Download Links:
    ROM - Download - 7/13/13
    Mirror - http://d-h.st/SEB
    GAPPs - Download

    Goo.im

    ----------------
    Tips
    - Clean flash strongly recommended with Android 4.2!
    - Turn off Currents background sync! Major lag cause in 4.2.
    - To be safe, I recommend clean flashing... especially if coming from another ROM.
    - If you get a status 7 error flashing a ROM, try making sure SYSTEM is unmounted in 'mount/unmount partitions' menu in recovery. Thanks to jroid for finding the tip.
