For the past 10 minutes I've just been turning on and off the phone. That's pretty trippy
*Sigh* I want to go back to CM7 but 2.3.3 gives me better cell reception
you can go back to CM7 and just flash the radio
The only things I'm missing from CM7 are the lack of cyanabread/theming and the notification widgets. 2.3.3 is blazing fast and very stable so far. Maybe some of the speed is due to a fresh install but it's very quick either way.

I did that on my wife's phone and, though I'm sure its in my head, it just seems a lot slower to get signal where as mine gets signal very very quickly now lol.

well technically he's already on 2.3.3 which has the updated radio.. so just flash CM7 + gapps
Google apps wont install
I've tried install the gapps a few times. redownloaded the latest version twice and it doesn't seem to be working for me. I just go into CW Rocovery and select flash from sdcard and select the gapps.zip. goes though ok but when I boot up CM7 no gapps So is this something with the nightlys that might be corrected later. I have the latest nightly build (02/27). or is there another way to install them?

on a side note how do I get fastboot setup with my Nexus S on Ubuntu 10.10? Anyone got a thread for the udev permissions?
edit: Nevermind I found one for the udev. Thank you Google.
edit: Dumb luck fixed it. I was looking at some of the other options in CW and saw there was a fix permission button. pressed it. It did its thing I rebooted and all the gapps showed up!

17Now that the Nightly Builds are back, figured their should be one thread were all of that is maintained.
