Just wanted to opt in and say that wlan_rx_wake is also my highest wakelock.
So there definitely seems to be something going on. Thx for your efforts with wireshark.
Are there any android based sniffer that we can also use?
shark for root and open it up with shark reader. Hmm, the packets seem to be coming from my housemate's PC. Null packets that keep coming to my phone :S
Broadcast??
In packet detail any info about destination ip? for broadcast it should be something like x.x.x.255

Weird. It's a directed packet coming from ports 60,000 and above coming from my housemate's PC towards my port 80 and 445.
445 being SMB/netBIOS (old crap)
80 is the HTTP port, dunno what windows would be doing with that.
Windows is verbose and messy, generally spams the network with junk
Yeah, not sure why it's the only system sending junk packets to my phone thus waking it up :/
I can post logs here if anyone is interested to analyze them.
Might be the way the network shares are set up, but I just checked my own wakelockes as my battery has been dropping hard as well, 7h+ of deleted wake locks, aka wifi stuff and another hour plus of wilan wake, wifi sleep policy is default. So something is not quite right with the wifi.
I am on the newest cm9 nightly and rc6 version.

I solved the problem by setting a static IP address in the WiFi settings, wouldn't hurt to try it

I also did that and it cleared up some percentage of the wlan wakelocks. It didn't clear up the rest.
So how much percent do you get?

For a 2 hour standby,
if I use DHCP, it'll be 1 hour and 45 minutes wakelocked by wlan.
if I use static IP, it'll be 35 minutes of wakelocked by wlan.
Wow that's way too much, do you get decent signal strength to WiFi? Maybe that could help.

I wanna ask Wifi related.
Not wakelock/battery drain issue. It just keep disabling on its own regardless my settings and also sometimes need reboot in order to connect to AP, otherwise it just "obtaining IP" or "connecting" all the time...
How to fix that. Its been like that even before I flash Siyah in my stock LPS rom...
