Yes its necessary and I did it exactly the way they said...... and phone was kinda wet after installation so it was bets to keep it in dry place to settle down......pics is a bit difficult as I don't have camera with m... Thanks for all your feedback,

So if I want to buy in India, it is either MoLife or GadgetShieldz

Ordering from outside - Zagg or Bodyguardz

Having heard how good the original screen itself is, I probably will buy Molife or gadgetshieldz. Thanks

Finally I ordered the MoLife screen guard from flipkart.... Some people seem to have some sort of yellow effect on the gadgetshieldz, so went for MoLife. I'l post a feedback once I install the screen guard

Guys, remember we were talking about samsung is going to update S3 with JB by end of the last month when we didn't have update on our HOX three weeks ago. They still have no dates confirmed. :D

the problem here is most people here have rooted and all and are using custome rom the only way u can get it is get ur phone locked, add back the stock recovery and use the 1.29 u have in footballs thread in dev and then u go to ur phones sw update and try updating it right now i dont think any one has what u want

    On a serious note, i had a chat with one of my frnds who is a htc rep, and he told.me the update is now being tested for local language support and might be out by next week.. hopefully :)

    Guys upgraded my wife's S3 to JB about 2 days ago. Take my word its not upto all the hype. I was struggling to find what was really new and what has changed. Could figure out three useful features
    a) Google now
    b) Voice search
    c)two finger gesture.
    I feel all three features are something you can live wihout.
    After using the phone for about 24 hours the performance has just gone off the cliff. Its lagging heavily and is pretty much unusable. I have done a factory reset now. Hoping it will not degrade as earlier

    Take it from me that our HOX running 4.0.4 is light years ahead of the S3 running JB. I have personally experienced it. so just relax and enjoy your phone. The update will come just as all the previous updates have come.
