This build is even harder than 2.1 or... to install.
Though i NEVER managed to instal from the first try (i always have to try 5/6 times with cable or without, with startup.txt or without startup ...), this build just doesn't want to install.
If i'm right, it is exactly the same as for the former builds. So dwnld the Zip, unzip to FAT32 µSD root, run auto-setup, choose Blackstone and OK, run haret, and wait.
Either i have a Waiting for SD card or have several error messages like "can't access tty" "error 110" 'the superblock could not be read..."
Wtf?
It's definitely your system and not me!
You've got the install procedure perfectly right. There's nothing to it... it's so simple.
Are you using Blackstone?
Have you formatted your SD Card recently and removed any partitions?
I really don't know how much simpler I can make the install... it's just dropping a bunch of files to the SD Card. The only things that can go wrong are:
a) Not enough room on SD Card
b) User can't follow instructions and tries to be a smart ass keeping old android releases on their SD Card (very common)
c) User tries keeping their data.img file (very common)
d) User forgets to run autosetup (very common)
e) User chooses overclocking, and wonders why things break
f) User has problematic SD Card (fairly common)
g) User has their own startup.txt which doesn't work
If you can't even boot into FroYo, it's definitely your system IMO.
