Hello!

I was just wondering if anyone has been able to cook a "recovery friendly" version of the new 20k firmware? Or if anyone has found a way to install the update on a rooted/ custom recovery phone? I wish I knew how to do it...but I don't. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Thank you,

Yes that would be nice, but there is another way thats easy. First restore your phone to stock. http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2663369
Then root with io root, then take the update to 20k, or vis versa, doesnt matter. Then install autorec. You are now on 20k with root and recovery. Both are available here:

CAUTION: make sure you disable the OTA updater app.

Thanks, I prefer not having to wipe my phone again....but I'd really like to be on the most current version. I appreciate your help.
