This is a new rom for u8800pro based on latest Miui release of Deadsky for DesireHD ... http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2127250
This New update optimized for giving to u8800pro users a Stable Miui rom for everyday use without the problems of past roms.
So this rom is bugfree, everything's working fine without problems.
U8800pro users in Greece already enjoining this rom and it's time now for XDA users to enjoy this rom too.
Hope you like it as much as i am ..
Hope that this one will be a stable MIUI rom for u8800pro users.
Don't have to say that this rom needs 2.3 baseband to flash it.

For Fm radio you can use spirit fm ( the last version that works is 5march 2013 version , if you use a newest version will not work).
Setup wizzard enabled at first boot, so you can change to your favourite language at first boot ( start up language: English).

INSTALLATION
1 get into cwm recovery
2 advanced / reboot recovery
3 wipe data factory reset
4 wipe cache partition
5 advanced / wipe dalvik cache
6 mounts and storage / format system
7 install zip from sd card / choose zip from sd card / ... choose the rom zip
After installation , go back to cwm recovery menu and ...
8 wipe cache partition
9 advanced / wipe dalvik cache
10 reboot system now



HOW TO AVOID LOOSING SMS.
A solution to avoid reboots because of loosing sms after installation of 3rd party apps which having sms permissions , like viber, whatsapp,handcent sms, etc ...
To FAQ of Wajk's rom, says ...
"When I send an SMS/Accept Call with 3rd app , device freeze, hotboot.
Set permission from "Always ask" to "Allow" for your app in Superuser app- or Set disable Manage Permissions in Superuser app".

So by following the above you'll never have problems
Or , disable "manage permissions" ( Διαχειρηση δικαιωματων ) , as you can see at first screenshot.
MY SUGGESTION IS TO DISABLE "manage permissions" .

MORE LANGUAGES KEYBOARD
For those who , the existing keyboard don't support their language
Download this Latinime.apk ... http://www.mediafire.com/download/ukmk9tuf2b8vtwl/LatinIME.apk
Open root explorer and replace with the existing to , system/app/ , give permissions ( rw-r--r-- ) , reboot , done.
This keyboard don't support Greek , but all the other languages.


MOVE DALVIK TO SD EXT PARTITION TO SAVE MORE SPACE TO DATA ( INTERNAL MEMORY)
STEP 1
For moving dalvik cache to sd ext partition , you must partition your sd card through recovery.
So, go to recovery ..
Choose advanced and reboot recovery.
Choose advanced and then partition sd card.
Then choose, ext = 512 ...
Then choose, swap = 0 ...
Let it finish ...
Put the MIUI multi ReBorn.zip in your sd, and flash the rom.
STEP 2 , (If you allready have a partitioned sd card, then you can skip the above first step)
Then, open root explorer and go to "data" folder.
Press and hold "dalvik-cache" folder and choose "move" .
Now go back and paste it to, "sd-ext" folder.
Press and hold "dalvik-cache" folder and choose "link to this folder".
Go back to "data" folder again and "create link" there.
That's it , reboot your phone and enjoy more free space to install applications.

NOTE 1. Rememper that partition sd, deletes everything in sd card, so have a copy of your sd card content to pc, to paste it back to sd.
NOTE 2. If you ever wipe cache and dalvik cache from recovery, then you must do the 2nd step and move dalvik to sd-ext again.


HOW TO SETUP SPIRIT FM
when you launch spiritfm for first time , you must allow superuser permissions.
then ignore the popup by pressing "back button"(softkeys)
then press menu and choose "settings"


this is the settings menu
the first option is for choosing your area [ i choose "Eλλαδα" (greece)]


then , go to AUDIO settings and do as you see


then go to DEBUG settings and do as you see


then go back , until you close application.
launch application again , choose "OK" at first popup
wait 3sec , until fm radio start playing

1. ROM asks on every reboot if I need to "Move Data to SD Card - Screenshots and photos will be migrated to the SD card to free up internal memory". In the first installation, I selected OK but that resulted in the external microSD card from not being detected AT ALL!! I tried everything in vain and had to reinstall the ROM.
Here's a picture of the msg (I couldn't take a screenshot as the notification menu was 'behind' this notice, and couldn't be used)


Open root explorer , go to .. data/sd card
Delete or move everything inside
Done , no popups anymore.

2 FOR FACEBOOK
When you install latest version of facebook , if you go to settings and try to scroll at settings menu you'll have FC.
If you go to settings and choose to disable notifications then you will Not have FC but you cannot choose other options.

You can do your settings without problems with this version , then you can update to latest version.
Another solution is , to restore facebook's apk data with titanium backup.
And the last option, is to use facebook by browser.

I managed to improve miui camera with 720p video recording and working real fine without fc's.
I test camera ics+ and works also.
Added and HDR function , but to work needed a camera with hdr option available, you can use camera.apk for my CM7.2 MOD , which has hdr option and working fine also.
Random reboots ?? ...Not yet.

Thank you, i also like it ..
And i think that, this the best MIUI rom, even if this one it's the first release.
Anyway we have to see it in long term usage to judge it further.

Not exactly.
On myphone is the Greek version, with default Greek lang and some apps included.
This one is with English default lang and no apps included.
All other system files are the same.

Yes ,it is really good.
I'm glad you like it.
For ics and up i told my opinion , kernel can't handle the ics and jb requirements, that's why we have so many problems.
I can't compile a kernel but i will work again on ics and jb, and will see what's going on.
The best choises for Pro users right now, are only GB based roms, ics and jb is for more advanced users who has the ability to do something, for other users i don't recommend it.

Anyway from monday i will upgrade again to work on ics and jb again.
Still i recommend GB based roms for newbies and average users, they're way better.
