As he said you should add atleast 1 contact in ur phone not in sim other wise it fc frequently....

Did you find a way for the wifi tethering to work?. Thats a great problem, I'm going to need that feature to access internet on the go with my laptop

To make tethering work
Use patch in the link provided... works fine..
Mount system flash through cwm..
