Please more details about error! Maybe your fault with recovery steps?
Question for all. Is anyone found bug in recovery? I tried everything and everything working without any bug... also this is port from my hd2 recovery so its fully tested in htc hd2 (its curently stable release there) so I think in aria not supposed to be a problem. Any test from you will be on good help because I going to implement new feature in recovery, new feature/my next plan will be:
- userdata, system and cache generation (you will be able to generate your own layout for userdata, system and cache so if you want biger/smaler userdata or system or cache, just simple way will be making it in a few clicks from your recovery)...+ new boot.img will be generated after these steps (maybe will implement feature for directly patching boot partition on nand)

edit:
Yes, patching boot and recovery is better idea :)

Tried to restore my last backup - it gave me error when restoring .android Secure on sdcard (not sd-ext; it's also can be corrupt, but I don't think so).

After error recovery didn't show me touch buttons so I had to navigate with trackball. Little bug, but a bug. :)

Something like "Error while restoring .android secure".
Also tried to backup CM9 - it gave me "Error while making a backup ima .android_secure!"
Touch images appeared after touching bottom of screen.
It's because of unsufficient space, sorry! :) It showed me this error after trying to launch backup again.
But buttons still disappearing after errors!

Good. So bug is only about buttons after restoring backup? Buttons is not shown?

Tried this on mine, works pretty good :)
Haven't tried any functions, but it's pretty much the same thing and it got this far so I assume they work.
Not sure if this is a bug or feature, but the trackball (pushed in) does what was last touched.. like, if I touch the down button, the trackball is mapped to down, and if I touch the OK button, it gets remapped to OK, etc
If I use another hardware button like vol up/down or power, it gets unmapped (to nothing)

If you're looking for new things to add, holding down on the up/down buttons to scroll quickly would be nice :) (if that's possible)

Yes, buttons aren't shown but only after any error while restoring\making backup.
