I've had that happen but it was when I was a ways from my router. I attributed it to a weak signal. The reception seems to vary a lot though, from good to dropped.

Happens close and far. I'm asking this to see if its my problem or a widespread problem. It also happens at my wife's work. Not sure what they use but its a huge medical building so I'm sure its a good one as well.

Hmm.. I don't think I've ever been disconnected while near my router, I would notice that.

And just so I'm clear in my explanation.....
Its a quick disconnect/reconnect... maybe 4 seconds elapse while it happens and the toast popup states I'm connected to my named network.

Thanks

back to 4.1.1. The latest 4.1.4 seems battery hog, uses more ram and my phone experiences sod while left charging overnight for two consecutive days. Although it's snappier it also has a trade off. No Wi-Fi problem here, but that's it.

I am also back to 4.1.1 from 4.1.4. On 4.1.4 was having issues with voice clarity, other person was hardly able to hear me. With 4.1.1 it is load and clear. I am using mic swap on cm10.

Yes I know 4.1.1 was way too clean on every aspect.. but lulzactiveq gov was introduced later on which we folks are trying something like if it beats pegasusq on battery as well as performance.I still 4.1.1 on sdcard as backup!

I am working with author of lulzactiveq gov, robertobsc to test some of his battery friendly tweaks, if you want you can refer to his posts/tweaks on I9100 forum and try them out, robertobsc is very supportive to help us!

Receiving Same Problems

I'm still getting the same problem of INVALID_APK_INSTALLATION whenever I try to install an apk to my phone, I develop apps. None of them seem to be working. Looking through logcat, I got a permission denied to the folder where adb puts the file to be installed. I have tried a lot of things. I included a logcat snippet around page 275. If anyone knows how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated. It's especially strange because every version of Siyah past 4.1b5 has been giving me this kind of trouble.

Thanks but this is my primary phone which i use for calls. With siyah 4.1.4 the voice call is not good. hence moved to previous version. Will try out new g governor once the voice clarity improves.

He's most likely using mic swap or non mic swap when he should be using the other.

Sent from Team Pirate Headquarters. AKA yer moms basement.

In op there is only mic swap version of 4.1.4 that its what i downloaded. And that is what i need for cm10.

Voice clarity is fine. You did something wrong. Sorry....

Thanks will try that. didn't know about that. If it works then will move to lulzactiveq

I dunno, I'm running AJ's most recent Siyah, and I've been quite underwhelmed by lulzactiveq. Got significantly worse battery life with it than pegasusq, so I'm sticking to pegasusq as my default governor.

    Dual-Boot instructions and Notes
If you want to have another ROM as secondary ROM, follow these steps:
1.Make a nandroid backup of your existing ROM
2.wipe everything and install the other ROM
3.Boot the ROM and make customizations. Don’t forget to reflash SiyahKernel if the ROM flashes another kernel.
4.Use CWM Touch Recovery to clone your rom as secondary rom.
    5.Restore nandroid backup
6.To boot from the secondary ROM, either press the HOME key or the VOLUME DOWN key when prompted.

    Some notes about dualbooting:
■If you do not make any cloning you won’t be prompted to boot the second ROM.
■you may need to reflash this kernel after a nandroid restore if your nandroid backup is created with another kernel.
■you won’t be able to use mass storage mode for /sdcard in second rom because we have our data and cache partitions on /sdcard. only external sdcard will be mounted if you are using mass_storage mode. mtp should work fine for sdcard.
■once again, you won’t be able to flash any CWM flashable zip to second ROM.

    More good information on dual-boot
