thanx just trying to throw some ideas around. After being able to downgrade sensations and evo 3ds we should be able to put xboarders eng boot loader in and use fast boot commands to write secure flag. That's kinda where I'm heading first with this.
And you guys don't have to get me the phone. I think a couple people with the nerve and the means could test it out. Of course this is risky and would love to try on a bricked phone first. That way if it doesn't work for some reason no one lost their phone. Otherwise we will have to intentionally brick one to see if Linux can write to the emmc through qsb_load mode.
Ultimately if everything were to work out we create a script program just like revolutionary that bricks, then installs the loader and s-off. All in a single program (just like revolutionary).
Of course this process could be a lot harder than I can handle but Dexter and those guys weren't devs either really they just kept trying until they figured it out.

the way the sensations and evos have been bricked is "special." by corrupting the hboot, the phone would enter a special recovery mode (we dubbed it the emmc mode) that allowed a linux or in some cases even a windows pc to see the phone as a disk drive, thereby allowing us to inject pretty much anything into it, since the write protection was off (the protection is on for the first 32mbs, however). that's how the idea of injecting a stock hboot came about. that's when fuses wrote his automated linux based tool.
There are many other types of qhsusb_dload bricks out there that were not caused by incorrect s-on application and that do not appear to enter the emmc mode. Hence, getting any kind of bricked amaze won't do you any good, unless you really know what you're doing.
