There is a reason that as much as this LOOKS like AOSP and acts like AOSP but has performance and battery life more akin to Sense, is that the GE is running firmware with a Sense Kernel, sitting on top of a huge chunk of Sense framework.
The software is slimmed down by half, thanks to no bloat from sense widgets or htc software etc.
I like the AOSP experience and this conversion is a great way to get it, and Android 4.3 before any other phone besides Nexus has it, is a nice bonus.
On that note Google is having a little announcement next week and I boldly am predicting here that we have 4.3 in less than a month from today.

I prefer sense but I am unable to tether with it. On stock google I can tether without limits on T-Mobile using my unlimited data plan. On my previous HTC phone I was able to create a new APN and then tether worked. I actually only use stock Google for the tethering and nothing else. Maybe one day I will be able to dual boot.
does tether for root users on the play store not work for you?
