I think this all the ROM I've tried is that convinces me more, is stable, few applications of telestra, is done much more reality although a little heavy, but would like to try something that might improve a little experience.

I would like to install the radio:
TELSTRA HTC 3.17.841.9 (1. 26a. 32.45 19_10. 134.32 34a)

I currently have
(bootloader) version: 0.5
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 2.15.0000
(bootloader) version-baseband: 1. 31a. 32.45 16_2

Do you think guys? is it worth changing? is there any risk?

You recommend me to install this RADIO? Telstra_5.06.841.1_Radio
What are the improvements?
Guide for installation of this radius of telestra, please

You already have this radio (1.31a. 32.45 16_2) as per your other post which I've also quoted.

If you're right, and I thank my advisors
that was only a mistake the my first quote
Ask first for the radio to TELSTRA HTC 3.17.841.9 (base android 4.1)
and now I ask the radio Telstra_5.06.841.1_Radio (base android 4.2)
I understand that they are different
I explain briefly, I'm from mexico and I understand here to handle the same bands that in australia,
believe me, even experiment little fail with my data
by that to know correct to install the radio Telstra_5.06.841.1_Radio
I would like to know how to do this installation

Before we go any further, post your current radio (baseband) for us. It's in Settings/About Phone.

I've been using the rom for a couple weeks and was using the Beastmode kernel keeping the 3.17 radio and 2.14 HBoot.
It worked well without issue but I wanted to try the new radio. I flashed the new radio and seemed to have similar reception.
I'm SOFF so i figured I'd update the HBOOT to 2.15 when I did this however my signal strength weaken. I switched the HBOOT back and forth several days and it seems the 2.14 HBOOT works better with the 1.31a radio.
I didn't think the HBOOT effected the reception am I doing something wrong?

I actually had the opposite experience. I flashed the 1.31 radio while on the 2.14 hboot and my signal was absolutely terrible. Back to the Telstra 2.40 radio and it's been fine again.

Have finally had enough of CM10.2 and random reboots, loops and everything in-between so going vanilla for a bit. Don't think I've used a stock ROM in over a year. Couple things though,

- Since this is odexed, does the usual mail.apk replacement trick to get around exchange security work?
- What is the deal with HTC reporting? Says that its a test device and turned on regardless of settings?

Edit: Scratch that, as per usual I can never get a bloody sense build to do BT audio streaming properly. Works perfect first connect and never again after that (constantly skips) regardless of app, reboot etc. Has done it with every sense build I've tried in the past 12mths. CM10...perfect. Despite being a phone, google play music streaming in the car seems to be more important than calls lol.

But FWIW, the Sense 5 Toolbox module for XPosed worked well for status bar, advanced reboot and some other things. And good job on the ROM none the less

Mate I did nothing to this rom other than give it root access. So you can thank HTC for your issues!
On a serious note, If I knew how to set up Xposed running from installation I would have made a custom rom from this as I'm really not a developer! :silly:

Oh yeah it's all HTC at fault for sure.

Took literally 5 mins to install the toolkit and do what I wanted so probably not worth your effort. Plus lets people do what they prefer

There really aint much at all. Mostly just recompiled apps, kernel, recovery, hboot and a bunch of libs etc.
http://diffchecker.com/nt88j4mc

I think there was a single bug that they squashed, I just dont know what it is.
Maybe Telstra moaned that they had a lower version number :p

---------- Post added at 09:14 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:55 AM ----------

The bug resolved may be "When the phone is set to vibrate, the ability to control vibrate notifications on a per app basis is disabled." that was reported on Telstras Crowd Support by jazacoop.

Or maybe just the update of Telstra one app from 3.2.2 to 3.3.0

Question: If we update with the OTA, will we lose root? I am S-OFF so I can just flash SuperSU over the top but just wondering before I click the button.

I want to try to install this rom with another procedure:

fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip radavs_stock_JB_4.2.2_5.08.841.3.zip

Any expert would answer if it is possible to do this

No, rebootRUU mode is for signed HTC images not custom ROMs.
Just install it from custom recovery like the install instructions explain.

    Aright guys,

Let's everyone just chill out here a bit.

Yes one needs to search for answers, but if they do not know where to look and they are posting a question about a ROM in a ROM thread (not like they started a new thread) and the OP doesn't seem to mind, let's not get overly zealous about telling them to Search! Search! Search! because it needlessly creates arguments.

Let's work together to help each other out and cut out the ranting and raving and flaming. If you believe someone's posting habits are antipathetic to the purpose of these forums then report the post, but lets not clutter of this guy's thread with in-fighting.

    Thanks :)

    Notes:

-After installing you have the option of having blinkfeed installed or not(clear it via notification)
-If you experience data drops, flash zarboz's kernel
-And/Or download firmware update from Turge's Stock Rom
BUT MAKE SURE YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS
This is a stock ROM but because it's not running on the firmware update that it came bundled with in the OTA update there's some kind of mismatch happening, thus causing these signal drops and random reboots. If you plan on trying the latest Telstra radio I'd suggest taking the firmware update route, I flashed the radio while still on the 2.14 hboot and it performed terribly. I think it works like this:

If you're on hboot 2.15, previous radios work terribly but latest works well.

If you're on <2.15 previous radios work well but latest radio works terribly.

I've only tested while on the lower hboot (<2.15) so far though.
I can understand most peoples frustration but from my testing I can confirm that if you are on the 1.09 Hboot and you use any of the JB 4.2.2 roms you are going to have these issues. As soon I upgraded through all Hboots(RUU+OTA's) to 2.15 I have had trouble free service on a stock & beastmode kernals.

Things that work with this ROM

    - Beastmode Reloaded 3.5 kernel

Things that DON'T work with this ROM

    - You tell me
-I don't know if zoe mod works with this(it should) as I don't care for this mod

I have installed Xposed framework and now have APM, themed icons, modified notification bar.
    Running Beastmode kernel.
So far running a lot smoother than any other rom I've used before.
