And go to...
Settings > Battery > Power Settings

Also I tried using the miui launcher from the store and opening folders was a little bit smoother, but I would get lag spikes when opening certain applications from it so I've switched back.

Hmm. That's interesting.

I've been using this for quite a while and no lag so far. Didn't mess with minifree or anything like that. Have you tried Turbo Boost? IMO it helps a lot.

Really? What apps that you installed? I have like bbm, whatsapp, thar running in the background...turbo boost did not help either..tried it.

I've installed: WeChat, Instagram, SnapChat, Sina Weibo, Smart Tools, Quick Reboot, ViPER4Android, Kernel Tuner

WeChat, Instagram, Mail, Music and ViPER4Android is always running in the background... And I have at least 200MB free when idle. (307MB now)



BTW, OTA download link is up. Sorry took me so long, my router was having some issues...

been testing this rom for a few days and this is my insight:

- memory management is a little off in this build. i tried several settings with kernel and tweaking memory but still device freezes when using whatsapp and facebook for example. it takes longer to clear memory when using 2 or 3 apps. im no dev so i dont know what could be causing this but that's an issue.

other than that it works great. i'm switching back to a more stable build for now.

hope this get fixed soon.:confused:

Hmm, it's weird because I cannot replicate the issue here on my phone... But I do have a relatively large swap space, 150*2MB

I have a total 175 MB swap space and my phone is running just fine, very smooth, hardly any noticeable lag. I usually have about 350 MB Free and I have all the standard apps installed (Facebook, snapchat, instagram, Google+, etc.)

That is really disturbing. I really want to use the latest build. Its not lag its memory management. I get to the point that my memory use is almost full and the phone hangs. Maybe im doing something wrong? Do the firmware version has any impact?

    This ROM has an OTA system which updates every week along with the official OTA releases.

    Mobile data is disabled by default. You have to manually enable it in the settings. *Note from BreatheHT: This ROM does support LTE. However, if you mess with ANY of the options under "Preferred network type", you will LOSE your LTE, and for now there isn't a way to restore LTE except for wiping data...

    This ROM has ElementalX 6.5 kernel integrated. S2W is enabled by default. S-ON users, you have to manually flash boot.img.

    This ROM has been tested on HBOOT 2.15(other versions might work as well). CWM and Philz recovery recommended. *Note from BreatheHT: I've used TWRP and it works just fine.

    There are 2 Baidu apps and 1 QQ Browser that come with the ROM. They are just some random stuff from the author. You guys can delete them as soon as you finish flashing the ROM.

    The weekly OTA update is NOT 100% guaranteed, depends on the amount of spare time the author has.

    *Notes from BreatheHT:
    This ROM will be in Chinese by default, but should automatically switch to English after it fully boots up.
    If you type *#*#4636#*#* and attempt to view phone information, you will get a FC.

    If you experience UI lags, go to Settings > Developer options > Disable HW Overlay
