Hi New to this modified rom stuff. I have been trying to follow your instructions to install your rom on to her GTS5363 "bt version of 5360 aparrently !.Her phone has kernel 2.635.7 dpi@del203#1
Your supplied link to kernel download does not work. Is there anything else I need to get her phone flashed .using bt wifi

Weird Now it does ,previously it took me to some scam site. ?
Do I need anything else to be able to use bt wifi. on the phone

Would anyone be interested in an updated version of this kernel for cm7? I'm quite adept in kernel development I think now as I have been developing a kernel for the kindle fire HD 7" and wondered if anyone still uses this device. Hit thanks if you would want me to create a very advanced cm7 kernel :)

Will thank you 10000 times if you do.By the way this is the only usable cm kernel at the same time very unstable. Drains battery like he//.

This kernel have one big bug on every rom updating super su or superuser binaries is impossible

Can't find cache log because cache partition not working.. need to do backup in cwm then in advanced restore / restore cache. So that is not really bug

    CyanogenMod 7.2 Specific BASIC Kernel - Totoro

    We are planning to release a kernel that con work on both devices, a BCM21553-common kernel, but that is hard work, as we must compare all the files from kernel, and test everychange.


    FEATURES:

    Due to the kernel is pretty advanced, we are not talking of a TO-DO list, we are talking about a FEATURES list, so the FEATURES are:
    • Kernel just compatible with CM
    • Specific Basic - Samsung official not-modded sources
    • EXT4 support
    • CWM Inclluded on kernel with EXT4 support too
    • Images of CWM patched to show good colors
    • Bluetooth and Wifi configs added to work with CM7
    • Common ramdisk used based on kissingmylove and PsychoGame
    • Ramdisk optimized for CM7 and EXT4
    • Compressed through LZMA
    • IMEI working on CM7
    • Offline charging working on EXT4 CM7
    • Added fully working temp. CWM by our team


    SOURCES:

    KERNEL SOURCE (GPL) is the official samsung kernel, as it is a specific BASIC kernel:
    I needed to modify the configs to get a BT, Wifi, and EXT4 working, this is not included on Samsung stock kernel, so I leave here the config source:
    Ramdisk has been also modd to create a bcm21553-common ramdisk that all users could use. SOurces to ramdisk can be found extracting from my kernel (LZMA) or also on github.


    If other kernel developers want to contribute on this, shot me a PM, and I'll talk with you.
