I flashed the new version directly on the old and had no issues. With that said, I'd recommend at least doing a backup of your device using whatever recovery you have just in case
I did it and now I have a bootloop. It stucks at the boot animation.
What should I do?

what an awesome release , just brushed off dust on my N1 this evening to Install the latest evervolv rom & I have to say I am immensely happy .
My Nexus One is alive & kickin ... thanks texasice & team !!
I have grown so much accustomed to MIUI that i use the MIUI launcher on every rom I try , It also feels much faster than the stock launcher in evervolv rom . As far as the MIUI superuser app is concerned , it's a pretty big upgrade over the stock app & includes LBE Security built in .
I did it and now I have a bootloop. It stucks at the boot animation.
What should I do?
Now I have to restore to my previous rom
With the latest version if have again and again SODs.... the last ones even had it, but not as much as now.
Especially if I load the battery via USB the SOD is very often. At any other times I noticed that the battery will be unloaded very fast if the SOD happens.
Setting the min. CPU freq. to 384 Mhz helps a little bit but is not the solution.
Remember to do everything u did when u flash earlier version
From that just wipe cache, flash new ROM and than flash a2sd(or any zip for data2sd or ad2sdx if u have installed it earlier)
Than reboot
That's it
U r there on ur ROM

If this ROM had the miui messaging app, it would almost be flawless.
Wipe davlik and cache and see if it boots, if not try a factory reset and flash again
Did u get good video result in sanvolds patch,
i tried it before bt didnt get good result, video get stuck in between, and this happens in both pc and n1.
thanks in adv,
But where do you get them, market? Wouldn't mind trying them out myself. Thanks!

Most likely a full wipe is in order for you. PITA, but sounds as though you're out of other options.
If you don't want to lose your data then do a Nand backup to your SD card or use Titanium app to backup, then wipe data/factory reset and format all partitions except for SD card and then flash the ROM of your choice. I use APK batch installer http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=23291051&postcount=1 to backup apps and data to my PC and restore them after I flashed a new ROM.Now I am using the a3 version of this ROM.
What do you mean "full wipe"? I don't want to lose my data.
I am getting one error daily showing system process is not responding
wait or ok to close
Can anyone help me for solving this problem.
i get this eror when i install some app and also when i try to open any app faster or by clicking screen faster.Wipe dalvik cache and fix permissions, is it just out of the blue that it gives you that error?

A: Try taking out your sdcard. If it works you need to reformat your sdcard and whatever you do dont use clockworkmod!- Q: Im getting lockups and have to pull the battery to restart?
A: Easiest way that seems to do the trick: Goto: Evervolv Toolbox -> Performance -> Processor -> change Min Freq to 384Mhz
