I just picked up my HTC and I must have some settings off on the phone or something because my images do not seem to to be as high def as the ones in this thread??? I have everything set to auto but to no avail they still come out as if the images were being shot in 3mp?

In comparison to my SGS2 in which the images are much sharper?

Are you viewing them on your phone or on your computer?

I've noticed that when I initially view a picture on my phone, it appears very blurry. Zooming in on the phone itself begins to show added clarity and sharpness.

Have you emailed your photos? The 8MP photos should be approaching 2MB.

Yes it is when i view them from my phone, I will email them to myself to view as well, thanks for the advice.

Edit: I can see the clarity now I guess i was used to my SGS2 looking at the pic on that phone it it would readjust the clarity as I zoomed in....

htc one s and iphone 4s

not starting on which is better etc... just happened to have both devices at the same time and decided to take pics of random stuff on a smoke break. (dont smoke, it is bad for you)

anyways, resolution wise, they are about the same across all high end devices at 8mp, so i wanted to stress different lighting situations, colors, saturation, etc..

no editing of pics in any manner less cropping the iphone pics to match the widescreen ratio.. thats it. as i type this on the ipad,vi think the one s is the clear winner.
