Can I rename .apk to .zip and then extract, add files, compress and rename it again to .apk?
Do you use APK tool?

better yet, install rom toolbox, there's a theming module in there that lets you do it all on the phone. You can download battery icons through the app and install them instantly if the rom is deodexed, which gin2jb is!

Right, so, my battery finally ran out, and I can say it was amazing, lasted three whole days from morning of the first to evening of the third, and I used it just like I would normally, which I must admit doesn't include much internet usage, but still a fair bit of gaming and texting.

Thanks a lot Vokal for the personalised support, I'll donate for this! :)

No, the script does have power saver (didn't activate it though) but also different sysmon values and added libraries.
In any case it made a huge difference to me, I recommend testing it.

About the app draining the battery, I've been using better battery stats for quite a while to try and figure it out and it seemed to me that different parts of the android system (the app doesn't differentiate between them which makes figuring which one hard) held wakelocks for hours, and also there's always data being emitted and received by different apps that shouldn't really do it, I'm guessing it has to do with backuping services, google analytics and stuff like that, but it results in activity during the night.

The script seems to have mainly drasticly reduced the wakelocks and also the apps surveying sensors activity, I know lots of games do that, they register for the sensor (I'm guessing accelerometer, but maybe the touchpads are considered as sensors too) and forget to unregister upon exit or whatever and they keep activity after exit too... This is what I've noticed anyway, but I'm no dev, obviously, and the problem could be totally different...

Also, any news about fixing the camera?
I'm still not able to use it, I've attached a logcat of a camera crash...

The battery Tweaks are ported from the Xperia Sola :p

I will include them in the rom

how the hell do you have the flashlight toggle?

Are you sure you are using my SystemUI.apk and my SettingsQuickPanel.apk

Did you restore data from a backup from other rom?

Try to clear cache, clear dalvik cache, clear QuickPanel Settings data and clear Camera data

Well played!

I did restore data but only from an old gin2jb, so it didn't have it...
So, I did clear cache and dalvik, but QuickPanel Settings and Camera didn't have data, so I don't know.
Maybe I'll go hunt for the package name in system/apps/ and delete it with root explorer or something...

edit: any way to give me an unmodified quicksettings so I can disable the flashlight? Would that fix the camera?
