But I lost my imei and was on edge network the first time around.

I'm thinking of just riding stock out until 6 months down the line when this forum has the steps down. There are different methods of rooting and I thought I did the safest one but appears not. I'm wait till there is 1 true thread that will set me on the path of righteousness. Amen.

I flashed CWM Touch with no problems and now I am on TWRP ans still have my imei.

I feel you on that. The devs are awesome for taking the time to do this and I appreciate it. Just like I said in my last post, I read so many threads that had different methods on how to do a simple root. It worked, but I lost my precious. I'm just going to wait for the correct or finalized steps because it appears that there are still some kinks that need to be worked out somewhere.
