Fast Charge for s3?

I saw a couple devs talking about using fast charge and that you can download it from GP.

When I try it on mine all it does is force close and "stop working" on me

Any suggestions/comments?

What's GP? Does GP = Google Play? If so, fast charge is incorporated into the kernel that you flash not necessarily an app unless this app is supposed to enable it usb fast charge. Could you clarify on which kernel/rom combo you're using and also which app (if GP = Google Play) that you installed?

while looking in the roms OP, most Devs include if the rom supports fast charge. Don't think you can just download from Google Play store.
