my tablet is rk2928 and is a Google play version I switched the vold.fstab now its stuck in bootloop can I use update.IMG to fix or is it just bricked to the point where I can't use anymore

Have you installed a working custom recovery? Got the stock firmware? What do you mean about update.img?
